Bought a wiz smart plug to see if I could switch my dishwasher on while we are at work.
We have solar panels that work with alongside a myEnergi phone app.
Works a treat!
Check the solar is producing while at work, then instead of the electricity going back to the grid we are using as much of the electric that we are producing for free.
I will be buying some more of these, especially with the price of electricity it is today.

If you buy the lights and use the app, you’ll be perfectly happy until you have a problem that requires support to sort out.

When I was unable to log in to my account and repeatedly got an error message, I had substandard “support” from a member of the team, who was curt to the point of being rude, and told me my “home” had been deleted (not true, I was using it at the time) and that I was only a guest on the account (also not true, I created it and the “home”). He was vague in his questions, meaning I had to ask questions to clarify. And he took his sweet time to answer my queries without explaining the reason for the delay. Really not a good user support experience - and my problem still hasn’t been solved.

Although the product itself is good, I cannot recommend the app to anyone because my experience has been that when there is a problem, it is impossible to get it resolved.

would rate it so much higher if it had fading lights and if the app actually worked, if I could turn on the lights the first time I tried it would be 5 stars, it takes minutes just to turn on since I have to keep resetting the app and pressing the on and off button, think a remote would’ve worked way better since the app is mostly a pain to use, even worse is the fact that I can’t change any settings or get wizv2 due to a ‘network’ error which I’ve reset multiple times.

overall I wouldn’t recommend due to the fact of how unreliable the app actually is.
