Simple, quick and convenient
The best part is you could pay with Apple pay up to £8000. I’ve been using this service from last few months and I must say this is the most convenient and reliable platform I’ve ever come across throughout my foreign transactions history. So far I’ve completed a dozen of transactions and on average it deposits the money next working day into designated bank account in Pakistan. I used Western Union quite a lot of times in the past but their online & app system was very frustrating whereas World Remit beat every other service provider. They keep me updated with the transactions until it is deposited. Excellent & Recommended service provider. I don’t mind paying 99p for uninterrupted & convenient service. Thank you WorldRemit.
No Genuine Reasons Why My Account Was Closed
I try to send money to a family member of mine for financial support the amount I sent was about £2600 the payment had gone through then I received an email asking me to call them. I called them straight away it took them 20mins to answer my call. I told the customer service guy the reason I was calling. And then he started asking some questions like the name of the person I was sending the money to, I told him the persons name, and this someone I have already been sending money to with world remit. He then asked me, how is he related to me I told him is a family friend, he then asked me how long I have known him for I respond all my life he is my childhood friend. He then asked me what is the money for I said it’s for financial support. Then I asked what’s the problem he said nothing his just trying to get information about the transaction I said ok no problem. Then he kept me on hold for another 10mins when he came back he said the transaction has been cancelled and my account closed. I asked why, he couldn’t give me a reasonable answer. I checked my email I was informed my account has been closed and that they will refund my debit card. I just don’t get, it seems like the customer service guy I spoke to just decided not to authorise the transaction based on his own discretion.

We are sorry to hear that your account was disabled. I can assure you that the customer service guy you spoke with did not close your account at his own discretion. We have a review department that reviews all transactions as well as accounts and decides to close an account if it does not meet our approval criteria. However, if you think your account was closed in error, we can certainly take a look at it and see if we need to re-open it. Please provide us your Worldremit account number so we can assist you further.
Best app ever!
I have a large family back in Africa and I often send money ( from school fees to funerals etc). I am also very busy with time so can’t afford to walk to Dahabshiil offices (inconvenient) and before this app I used to be late with any request from anyone. Now any time, any day with finger tip, I can send without breaking a sweat! The rate is also very good and unbeatable. Your transaction is kept up to date. This has revolutionised sending back home. Ever since I’ve found out, I have told all my friends and family and they are forever grateful to WorldRemit. May Allah bless this service for the humble brother who established it.
