Description

Put anxiety & stress into perspective with Worry Watch app, picked as one of the best anxiety apps consecutively for past 4 years by Healthline.com.

About the app:
Often we worry about everyday things. Later we realize most of those worries were unnecessary and some irrational too. Yet, we worry again for something else soon. Worry Watch is a unique app that helps to reflect on those momentary priceless self-realizations.

By writing down our ‘what if’ anxious thoughts and tracking it to ‘what did’ happen reality, we may get a deeper understanding of our anxiety patterns and triggers. Such an understanding may help challenge our negative thinking habits and affirm optimism instead.

How it works:
1. Record:
Write down what is bothering you and set a reminder to revisit the outcome later.

2. Reflect:
Once past the worry, note whether the outcome was as bad as worried.

3. Reason:
Keep journaling and analyze your thought patterns logically with the help of statistics & dashboard.

4. Realize:
Based on your own statistics, realize that your worries may be mostly unfounded.

5. Refute:
Challenge your worry perception when you tend to be anxious again.

Other important features of the app:
1. Face ID or Touch ID or passcode protection
2. Custom contexts, scenarios, cognitive biases & notes
3. Daily & weekly reminders with your own affirmations
4. iCloud sync to backup, restore or delete data
5. Export data easily to share with your therapist or someone else
6. Advanced search filters & bookmarks to easily find your entries
7. Anxiety streaks to track
8. 15 Beautiful themes to fall in love
9. 72 Elegant fonts to personalize the journal
10. Works offline, no internet connection needed except during iCloud sync
11. Universal app, pay once for iPhone and iPad
12. Family share enabled, sharing is caring!

Really useful

If you tend to be over-anxious and "catastrophise" possible outcomes, this is a nice simple little app to give you a reality check. I've found it helpful even in difficult circumstances, as it's a good visual reminder of how often things haven't turn out as badly as I feared they would.

It's basic, but the best aspect of it is that as you keep entering worries and outcomes, the reassurance the app provides is based on your own real experiences, not just generic positive thinking.

Looks nice

Looks nice and I have provisionally 3*’d it but would that go up if I find it truly useful.

The obvious limitation for me is I tend to use my iPAD in landscape with a smart (expensive!!) keyboard and this only works portrait, so I have to flip the keyboard away to use it then back to do whatever else I was doing!
Just fired it up on my iPhone now. Sadly it doesn’t sync between devices? That’s a shame. You can back up to the cloud and restore though.

I didn’t feel it came up with any real advise for how to manage anxiety and for the price I would have expected it to be easier to use and have more detailed analysis. Overall won’t use it again and feel you could just as easily write your planned events down and tally how you felt afterwards all it does is calculates the percentage of ones you don’t worry about.
