Simple and great for beginners

This app is very relaxing and great fun. I have only used it for a couple of days (not very long at all) and I’m already starting to feel a bit more free in my body. It is very simple to use and not overwhelming at all. The choice of workouts is just right as you don’t want too many different options and it says what the exercise is about. In the morning I do the morning one and before bed I do the bedtime one etc.I would recommend this to anybody who wants to do a form of meditation and improve flexibility and fitness. Another thing that I like is that you can customise your own workout (without premium) therefore you can select your favourite exercises and do them in your own workout you’ve created. One thing that I would like to be added is being able to receive inspirational motivational comments throughout the process to make you feel happy and motivated during each session or positive reminders of how yoga will help you eg improve your flexibility; tune in with your mind etc. :)

Really good starting point

I’ve been meaning to do yoga for years. Our rural location in France has meant getting to classes is hard so I decided to try this as the instructions are clear, though some modified movement pattern instructions for us oldies with stiff joints would help. If it had that, I'd give the app a 5/5 rating.
Having worked in nursing and MSK work and as a rowing coach I understand how important these exercises are to wellbeing and good posture and balance.
But I’ve been adjusting the movements to what I am capable of, seeing myself as work in progress!! I can already see big improvements with my flexibility and balance after a year of sessions. It’s so gentle.
I think an improvement to the app would be a section for seniors starting with chair based exercises and progressing on to more typical yoga poses. It should be a natural progression. Seeing people folded in half looks unobtainable for a lot of folks and therefore might be perceived as impossible and unobtainable rather than a future goal. Please develop the app to include old fogey yogies.

Great app for all levels

I’ve had this app for a while now and seen lots of changes and updates. It runs smoothly with no glitches and has options to change the length of time in position, music, rest between position and so on. The programmes are a good option to keep you on track and they’re for all levels too. You can just choose a quick option if you prefer to change it up. I like the flexibility programmes and single sessions or the full body options. I use to do yoga a few years ago but am now so unfit I wouldn’t dare go to a class plus I struggle to find time. If you want an app to do in the comfort of your own home either to get to your target or to supplement other activities such as running, swimming, gym then you can’t go far wrong with this one. Enjoy!
