Good insurance company

Can’t fault this company. I work part time as a delivery driver and Zego’s insurance is exactly what I need. The pay as you go option is perfect, links into the delivery company app so you only have to pay when you work. I’ve not had any accidents so I don’t know what they are like to make a claim from but if it’s even half as easy as it was to sign up and link to the delivery company it will be no problem.

Highly recommend to any part time driver.

If i could give zero I would’ve given it. So here’s the thing, i got insurance policy with zego for my car on which i wanted to try uber eats. As it was my first time ever using uber or zego i wanted to see if it’ll be worth doing deliveries on a car and found out its not. So on uber i changed doing deliveries on a car to a Bicycle. I got charged for doing deliveries on my car which is understandable but the next day when i went on bike and did some deliveries, i found out zego was charging me for that too. So i rang their customer service and was told that this is a problem from Uber side, i contacted uber and found out that Uber is not charging me for doing deliveries on a bike but zego is. I rang back to Zego and this time one of their customer support team member said Its my fault for not telling zego that i am doing deliveries on a bike where as the first time when i rang they said its Uber. Now i want to cancel my policy and get the credit in my account back but i have been told I can’t get it back, It’ll stay in my zego account even after i am going to cancel my policy. So that money they’ll just keep
It there.
This is a complete scam and i will go ahead taking legal action against this.

Not happy at all

I have signed up with the app as I applied to update my vehicle details to car on Deliveroo. However, Zego has been charging me continuously even though Deliveroo has not added my car to my delivery account, therefore I only had bicycle on my account. The Zego customer service did not help AT ALL. First, the replies I receive to my queries show the total disinterest of the staff in helping with my issue of being charged for delivering with bicycle. I have also called Zego and was told by the customer service rep that he will look into the shifts I have worked with bicycle (ie all since I signed up with Zego) and return the amount I was charged to my account as Zego credits. Empty promise as I have not heard back ever since. I have managed to stop them from charging me blindly by having to empty the bank account synced to my Zego account. Finally, I managed to have them close my account and stop charging me by not paying. Ridiculous and disappointing!
