Here's how to sign up to Fido:
- Download the Fido App and register only once.
- Confirm your details with a valid ID (NIN / Ghana Card) and an address.
- You must be over the age of 18.
- Complete the Fido Score assessment.
- If you are a business, complete you business information.
- Kindly note Minimum Repayment period: 90 days and Maximum Repayment period: 365 days.
- We accept MTN, AT & Vodafone Mobile Money wallets.

Here's how to repay:
- Log into the Fido App, select the 'Make a Payment' button and follow the prompts.
- You can also dial *998# to repay.
- For other options like using the MTN, AirtelTigo and Vodafone menus, find the repayment process in the Fido App 'Help' section.

Beware of Fraudsters:
- Don't pay any deposits to any agents, Fido is a 100% mobile app!
- Don't use a mobile money number that does not belong to you.
- Don't use someone else's Ghana Card.
- Don't apply for someone else.

Fido personal credit and business loans are intended to assist entrepreneurs and individuals with their everyday needs and not to service long-term debt obligations. Maximum Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is 36%. This is based on a credit line term of 365 days (one year), an interest of 0.098% per day or 2.94% per month, a processing fee of 295 GHS per credit line, and a deductible commitment fee of 1.4%.

Representative Example:
A borrower who receives 2,000 GHS credit for a 365 days term, will be charged an interest rate of 0.098% per day, thus 408.7 GHS in 365 days, and a processing fee of 295 GHS, summing up to a total repayment of 703.7 GHS. A deductible 1.4% commitment fee is applied, and 28 GHS will be deducted from the principal.

‏In summary: 2,000 GHS (borrowed amount), minus 28 GHS (commitment fee) + 408.7 GHS (interest) + 295 GHS (processing fee) = 2,703.7 GHS (total payment).
The borrower has the flexibility to make early repayments at any point, thereby reducing the above-stated interest (reducing balance interest).

Had a hysterectomy surgery and also misplaced my sim at the ward

Fido 😭😭 I’m very sorry defaulted. I have been a loyal customer which you attest to, paid my loan on time when I am due, submitted my business documents, I was ready and prayed for a bigger loan until my condition became critical 10days ago, I had go for a hysterectomy surgery with the little savings I made at my shop, because of the pain and my condition it’s escaped me since I was using Vodafone instead of mtn hence the network challenge, I eventually misplaced the mtn sim.
I was discharged yesterday 12th Sept. Got home and had to use my mtn and checked on Fido later in the evening and realized I was 6days overdue for payment 😭😭😭I was driven with my pain, laying at the backseat screaming to mtn office to cut my sim and got home and pay my loan with little I had with plus my sister in-law top up. And I was informed I’m not eligible for a loan 😭😭😭😭. Meanwhile I have no money on me for feeding , prescriptions I brought home to buy and also to be visiting the hospital back for dressing of my wound omg , I’m finished!
Fido you have been supportive but on my day in need I just can’t stop crying. Please help me I beg of you. I’m depressed already please don’t kill me 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🙏🏻

I have been sick

Hmm I have be so loyal, pay my loans on time .. even sometimes a week before my due date, just this one time I feel sick and my business went bad .. you guys are treating me like a criminal even attempting to take me to court .. I’m trying my best to buy my debt. I sent everything in wallet you guys took it us penalty for delayed payments.. I’m try had even thing I sell as low as even 20gh I use it in paying my debt and take all as penalty and am not moving forward with my payments yet you blackmailing me.. I trying my best to settle this and delete the app for good and stop recommending it to friends .

Need your help please

Hi Management of Fido,
I have been a loyal customer and I pay all my loan on time until I day I had a medical problem which I was admitted and that was the same time I was supposed to make payments. I called the customer service number and you guys called me. I explained everything to you and I paid my debt including my overdue charges. Since then you guys have stop giving me. I was thinking it might be temporal but it been 2 good years now and still can’t give me a loan. Oh come on I have paid everything and including the late charges. Please help me ok. I need money for my business please I beg you.
