The new winbank mobile app is here!
The new winbank mobile application has been redesigned to offer you an improved banking experience through a modern, upgraded, friendly, easy-to-use and modern experience.
From the dashboard page you can explore an overview of your relationship with Piraeus Bank, and you can also easily initiate a new transaction. Also, the dashboard page has been enriched with the "winbank in the spotlight" section where you can find propositions that promote your banking relationship, as well as the "Stories" section where you can find short articles of general interest with important new information.
From the "Deposits" section, you can view a summary of your account balances or a detailed view of your transactions for each account. Selecting an account, you can initiate multiple transactions from the Transact button. In addition, you can open a new account.
From the "Cards" section you can manage your debit, credit, and prepaid cards. You can also view the balances and transactions of your cards, make a card payment, block temporarily a card, issue a new card, set new card limits, manage card controls management and much more.
From the "Loans" section you can view important information about your loans.
From the "Insurance" section you can view important information about your insurance products.
From the "Investments" section you view important information about your investment products.
Security management:
- Setup security features for Quick login (4-digit PIN or biometric authentication for compatible devices).
- By activating the app’s notifications, the extraPIN code is automatically received and submitted by your device when authentication is required for your mobile app transactions. You just confirm the transaction using your quick login, saving time with increased security.

Finally!
Finally an app from this specific bank that resembles 21st century european bank. I have asked numerous times for an app with actual data analysis of cash flow and expenses, with a bonus addition of overview of other types of products, eg loans, insurances or investments in case you have. My only concern is the reliability, the bugs that will come up and the actual 24/7 support to the app from the bank in terms of security. Time will show. All in all, great design.

No push notifications that won’t let me make a simple payment
Winbank developers please fix your push notifications system on iOS please. I’m not able to send money to other banks because I never get the notification and the website almost explodes if I don’t get that notification approved, with unhelpful errors that don’t many any sense, throwing me out of the session and having me to do the process over and over again. I wonder why I have to pay such a high commission for literally the most basic digital service a bank can have, which doesn’t even work.
Apart from this, the features in the app are hardly helpful, it’s hard to navigate and it’s unintuitive for even checking my balance which should be in the home page, and very limited features overall. I recommend to change banks due to this app being so useless.

You can enable push notifications from Settings so you don't have to enter an extra PIN code to approve your transactions. Where identification is required to complete the transaction, you will use quick login (4-digit PIN or fingerprint or Face ID). Their activation is done again from the Settings.
On the winbank YouTube channel you will find educational videos to use the winbank app. If you have any suggestions for improving the application, please contact us at support@winbank.gr.
Wonderful app, but!
Please, for the love of God, prioritise a bit the change of the splash screen! Other than that, huge update compared to the previous application. I find the UX a bit confusing but I guess it’s a matter of getting used to the app.
