Unprofessional

The first time I rate an app with one star and write a bad review, more often that not when I update the app, certain function ka such as FPS lost and I gotta uninstalled and reset everything.

This time it took me a week and the FPS function still doesn’t work, even I called my RM it is useless. I feel terrible using citi’s apps and sometimes it frozen for no reason and I missed the fx rate I intended to trade. If I can rate zero, I will do it without hesitation, hand down.

Feedback on UX

Don’t know where to provide feedback so here I am. I think FPS UX needs a bit of work.
1) it doesnt have QR scanning capability (more of function than UX this one). I saw my friend’s SC app has. Wanted to pay tax via FPS but cant because I cant scan QR.
2) when access FPS function it leads directly to address book. Everytime I want to send to someone I dont have on contact I was always confused. (For other people that have the same problem, just type phone number or email address in search bar, then click done)
3) why do I need to put in decimals? Just default it to no decimal and if some transaction really need it then people will just put in “.” themselves
4) why do I have to select purpose of transfer? It’s a bit annoying I have to pick every time and honestly because Im too lazy I just pick the same thing (personal expense, which is the first one and honestly everything is my ‘personal’ payment).

Feels like it’s been designed by IT

This app is superficially pretty but still badly designed as soon as you try to actually use it. I suspect user testing was very basic and it’s very product rather than needs orientated. The Payments screen is a mashup of inconsistently described Citi money movement features. So many other confusing examples… try managing payees: FPS is separate from other payment features, but why? Try Move Money to Citi from the Payments screen for the first time and it’s fine but try it from the Settings menu and exactly the same prompt to add a new account has no action button. Try Managing Scheduled Payments and you’ll rapidly hit bugs and error messages. This app is slowly improving but as a customer it is painful. Fortunately for Citi the benchmark is low, the new virtual banks are still catching up on functionality and switching autopays etc to other banks is too annoying.
