Description
The HKC SecureComm2 app enables users to easily manage their alarm systems from any location. Receive alert notifications directly to your phone, track alarm events via a detailed log history and depending on your alarm panel, control your gates, lights and heating via the app.
COMPLETE CONTROL
With the SecureComm2 app you can remotely arm, unset or partset your alarm system. Plus the audible announcement will confirm when your alarm has been set or unset.

A brand new design layout and great new features provide an enhanced user experience
BIOMETRIC LOGIN
With the new biometric login feature users can set up face or fingerprint ID meaning there’s no need to enter your user code every time
DETAILED LOG HISTORY
Up to 100 log events are available within the app and users can now filter these events by date, set/unset or alarm event
Note: In order to use this App you must have a HKC alarm system that is setup with an account with the HKC SecureComm cloud service.

Constant connection issues
The newest version of the app has the worst connectivity so far, it can take multiple tries to even login.
I’ve had to use the old app the arm the alarm but with the old app being disconnected soon I am very worried things will become unusable.
I’ve had this app many years and was very happy but the new app has completely changed my opinion.
The lack of support options for the app is also very concerning.

Awful connection issues
I’ve used the old version of the app for years without any issues.
Have had nothing but trouble with this new app. There had been a major lag receiving notifications when I armed/disarmed my alarm. However, it’s even worse now because I’m not getting any notifications at all! I can’t even log in to the system using the app…its states that ‘SECURECOMM is unable to communicate with the system, please try again later…’ I keep trying later and no change! I received an email from the company recently sent to all customers that the app issues had been fixed. That’s not my experience. Would be interested if anyone else is still experience problems. I contacted the company and they advised me to contact my alarm engineer…which of course will involve a fee when I’m 99% sure it’s the app.
New is not always better
Worst update to an app ever. I’ve used the old app for the past 7 years with no issue and now since I’ve had to use this new app it is unbearably glitchy. Takes multiple attempts to login constantly saying “Connection to SecureComm failed. Please check signal level and try again.” and when eventually you get logged in it takes multiple attempts to set the alarm. That’s if it lets you in the first place, very frustrating when the old app worked just fine.
