Gets the job done
The Tesco Mobile Ireland app works well for checking top up balance and active prepay plans.
The user interface is a bit clunky and doesn't match the general iOS user interface. Nonetheless, I'm happy to be able to check my balance.
Any Tesco Mobile customer should have this installed.
Stay away if you want to move your number
Horrible. Got 24 months contract (only because of a good price on iPhone 14) and since beginning of December trying to move my number from Eir. Been in touch with like 5 support agents (online and in person) and all said that number will be moved in few hours. Well, it’s not. On my page it’s showing that they’ve created multiple requests (without canceling previous one so it won’t interfere with each other) and because of that “Unable to process further” but they simply don’t understand how to fix their own mistake. Stay away.
No usable latest version
Latest update introduced lots of new features like scan card and other updates, which is really pathetic!
I tried to recharge and I already have a registered card details, even though the app ask me to scan. But it is not reading the card even the camera permission allowed .
Another one is the flash light on the scan screen. Tried to turn on and it is not off even click the icon! Had to forcefully exit the app.
3 time a tried and all 3 times the app shows transactions failed, later checked my account and see that all transactions are success
Please try to test on these actual phone and targeting mobile is before rolling out customers
