Version 2.2

The latest version of the Yuno Energy app comes with a spooky update just in time for Halloween. A new Vampire Energy feature will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks and will help you save even more energy. Update the app now so you can try it when it becomes available!
There are also bug fixes and improvements throughout the app to give users a smoother experience.

Payment feature doesn’t work

I missed an automatic payment because I forgot to transfer money into my bank account. However, I couldn’t get the manual payment feature to work in the app. I have called several times to Yuno but they said there was nothing they could do. It’s very annoying as I hate having an outstanding bill.

Avoid at all costs!

Incredibly disappointing! For a company that fully relies on the App for payments to be made you’d think it would work. However it is riddled with bugs and is nothing more than lost storage space on my phone at this point.

I really wanted to give Yuno time to iron out their core functionality bugs before leaving a review but there’s only a certain amount users/customers can take. I was tracking my usage for the month of Jan - Feb and it stated €200. All of a sudden on billing day this shot up to €419.

I tried paying this off in every way possible (paying the whole lot, paying half, paying €20 and also adding new payment method) none of these core functions worked and were bugged out. I spoke to a rep who let me know about some bug fixes that were made to fix these. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but lone behold the same issues are there.

Along with this our predictions now seem to be delayed. I was away the entire weekend yet my predictions are showing more usage than if I was in?

I would stay well away. If Yuno Energies fundamental selling points are being smart with electricity and being App driven but their App is riddled with bugs and predictions are inaccurate. Then there is no reason to chose them. Save yourself the hassle and the stress and go with another provider!

Do not go near this company

I left them at the end of November fully paid up to date and they have taken my €150 government energy credit for December when I wasn’t even with them. I had serious issues with their billing and their app previous to this which is why i left.
4 emails sent, multiple complaints logged and requests for a refund of MY €150 credit and still no response.
Word of warning…steer clear… you will pay. And the app is horrendous, i was on the day/night tariff and the app would only bill me the day tariff. It also bills and deducts your account a month in advance, my first and second bills were nearly double my normal bills.
This app…Not fit for purpose…

Hi Staccato123, We are sorry you experienced issues with the bill showing just your day tariff. This has since been resolved.
You receive your December credit from which ever supplier you are with on the 29th of November. If you changed supplier after this date the credit will be included on your final bill and any refunds issued. Please send a note to appfeedback@yunoenergy.ie and we can look into this further.
