Fully paid Rs 1218 for certain tests on 14 May 2022 for samples to be taken between 7 AM to 8 AM on 15 May. No one came to collect samples! Reminded customer agents (Ayaz, Geeta) through chat facility to send someone for samples which they promised but never sent! Imagine a patient fasting for 12 hours but careless and unprofessional customer agents showing their arrogance and indifference! Requested customer agents to let me speak to a supervisor but she showed her arrogance and wasted another 30 minutes. Supervisor never contacted because they think after 1mg is taken over by TATA, they have become Government employees with zero accountability. I made a last minute attempt to contact Grievance officer presuming him to be responsible enough to act immediately and coordinate sample collection. Alas, these TATA1mg jokers wanted 12 hours to look into the matter. I wish senior management from TATA reads this to stop harassment to patients who pay in advance and see no one coming to collect their samples. I am writing to Medical Council of India and exploring legal options for redressal.

Phlebotomist is well trained and good but the back-end systems and processes are need a lot of improvement. I am being asked to make payment for a lab test while I have already paid on the app. The app clearly shows payment is made but I am getting a sms and automated phone call several times to make payment. Chat support attempt number 1: The agent seemed to see that it’s all ok and said no need to worry; I will get reports in time. 3 hours later, I get a call from Tata1mg lab asking to complete payment so that they can proceed with the test. I explain the situation again and the fact that payment has been made. He promises to check with account team. 12 hours post this, app status says that reports are on hold because Tata1mg is awaiting payment. Chat support attempt number 2: I have to repeat the same explanation again on chat; they ask me to provide screenshots of payment made; I share screenshot from Tata1mg app itself (pathetic, isn’t it); I share screenshot of email from Tata1mg. Chat agent now says they need to check with higher priority and need 2 hours to revert. In today’s world the back end team not able to see payment history of a customer is not expected. It took me 3 mins to book my lab test but now I have spend a total of at least 70mins chasing chat based support. For serious issues like this, they should at least call customer actively.

I have been using Tata 1 mg for almost 3 years now and I have had hassle free experience of their lab tests and getting the reports on time. But this time I booked for a health package which included radiology tests. The blood sample was taken the next day as usual and got the reports by the same day. But for radiology tests which needs to be done at a Center that Tata 1 mg has a tie up with. They kept delaying the tests for over a week saying the doctor is not available and all. Finally I got an appointment after a week to a Center called “Aarthi scans &labs”. The appointment was at 12pm and I reached there on time. ECG was done and for scan they made us wait for 3 hours for no reason. There were no patients and the doctor was also available. But still they kept delaying giving lame reasons. Also the place was very unhygienic and the staff there have bad attitude and least care about the patient. after waiting for 3 hours they called us for scan and made my mom lie down for more than 20 minutes and the doctor was gone again. And when he got back he hardly did the scan for 5 minutes. How do I trust the reports I get from such a pathetic Center? Are you not doing a background check before tying up with such centres? Now I even doubt how the blood tests are done and in which centres and if it is genuine or not. I would not recommend getting any test booked from this at all. Book at your own risk.

Like someone in the reviews have mentioned zero or minus, I would also give the same ratings, these guys are good at responding when you place an order, but there also the person who calls you to take the order is rude and has the audacity to tell you to book the order in some other app, then you don’t have option you place the order, and then the sample collection they send the no of the person who is suppose to collect your sample and when you call that person that person tells you that he will not come and some other person will and then it gets rescheduled and the sample is collected and then the long wait, it says within 24 hrs you will get your reports but alas it will for sure take 72 hrs, you try to call their customer care there is no soul to pick your call even the collection agents don’t respond to your calls the only way to talk is by chat in the app you have downloaded and that to my dear if the agent is available, to get in touch you write a mail they will not revert, why do we opt for this kind of services, simply because it’s convenient and sometimes to ease the patient but these unprofessional guys take us for a ride and make our life miserable, so my humble request to whoever is reading this and trying to take 1mg labs services please don’t take it, these people are not worth it and they are pathetically unprofessional.
