Taj Hotels Resorts Palaces 4+

This app is just a way to get to the taj website; nothing more. It’s more convenient to open the website on safari for easier navigation. The app doesn’t have any option to login and look at your bookings or saved searches etc like other hotel chain apps. Hope they update the app regularly to improve it going forward.

Terrible app. Just occupies space on my phone. Rarely works. Can hardly do any booking through this. And it never gets logged on to the TIC option. Expected better from what used to be one the finest stay experiences. And by all accounts, even that is going from bad to worse. That warm reception on arrival, room service, housekeeping and the service in restaurants are just about the same that you get in the public sector hotels. They think that they are doing you a favour by letting you stay there. What else can you expect when a hotel considers itself to be a mandap? That is what hoteliering balance sheets are all about, right?

Not sure why this app exists - it crashes more often than a 3 year old learning to cycle, has more bugs than the door handles of a public bathroom and stutters more than the Virar slow local to show you a half decent search result. I’d give this app 0 Stars if I could given how frustrating it is to even log into your account (which it currently doesn’t even let you do). It’s also not been updated in a while which makes me feel maybe Taj themselves have also just given up on it. Which is unfortunate since the hotel chain still maintains its high standards of hospitality.
