New update looks amazing and the remote play feature is really good and feels responsive. I’ve tried games like COD warzone, fortnite, apex legends, Destiny 2, DMC 5, Dauntless, PUBG and GTA 5. They all play amazing with close to no input lag. There is input lag (but it’s very barely noticable. Like 0.3 ms delay maybe. I play with 100mbps internet. Xbox connected with 4.5ghz and my iPhone SE 1st gen connected to usual 2.5ghz internet). Also rarely the stream gets shutter. But it’s rare. It can be a problem while playing competitive multiplayer games. So remote play experience is good so far. I loved it. How ever using my phone as remote. It’s finally good to see an option to open the keyboard manually. However the remote is not as responsive as it used to be. Coming to the account page. There’s no option to customise the Xbox account page like before. Can’t change bio or gamer picture. I hope we will get to have them back soon. Thanks for the new update Xbox.
Better than ever

The latest update rocks. Almost no input lag. If you listen carefully, there is a lag between button press and the feedback sound while navigating through home screen. But when inside a game, I get too much carried away to even notice. Not recommend for competitive games/ racing games. Hack n Slash, RPG, casual shooters or others, perfect.
The problems that Holds it back

The Xbox app has a strong foundation and shows clear progress in terms of design direction and overall aesthetics. As a companion app, it is moving in the right direction. However, there are a few areas where improvements are necessary to enhance the overall user experience.1. Performance and ResponsivenessThe app often feels slow and unresponsive. There is a noticeable delay when interacting with elements such as buttons or navigation options. This could be related to server latency in India, but regardless of the cause, the lag significantly affects usability and makes the app feel less fluid than expected.2. Animations and Loading ExperienceThe app lacks smooth and modern animations. Transitions between screens, such as navigating back or opening a new section, feel dull and out of place. Incorporating subtle fade or transition animations would make navigation feel smoother and more cohesive.Additionally, when content is loading, the app sometimes displays a blank screen, which feels outdated and disruptive. A proper loading animation or indicator should be implemented instead of leaving the screen empty, as this would provide better visual feedback and improve the perceived performance of the app.3. App Structure and Content OrganizationThe app would benefit from clearer and more intuitive sections. Important features should be easier to discover. For example, there should be a dedicated section for Play Anywhere titles, where users can view all supported games in one place. This section should also include a concise and well-written description explaining what Play Anywhere is and how it benefits users.Overall, while the Xbox app has strong potential, addressing these performance, animation, and organizational issues would significantly improve the user experience.
Good app, but please support cloud gaming
PRANAVW$O
I’m a HUGE fan of Xbox and have a Xbox Series S myself, but sometimes, I want to play on my iPad but the I like to play are not available on the AppStore, like Halo or Fortnite, and games like Minecraft, where I have to buy it, and Cloud gaming would’ve fixed EVERYTHING, but I live in India so cloud gaming is not supported here, so I have to use a VPN, but I don’t like paying money just to play games because I’m already paying for my Game Pass Ultimate subscription, so PLEASE, PLEASE make unsupported countries supported Microsoft and Xbox, and I know it’s hard work, but still, please try the best you can and speed up the process!! Thank You
