App not working on IOS

The app has recently not been working for IOS 12 for over 3 weeks. I have complained and raised this issue repeatedly with no resolution to-date. Please separate access to online banking with the Standard Chartered app i.e. verification pin should be sent to other apps such as registered customer email accounts to allow access to online banking when you do not have access to the Standard Chartered app or if the app has errors.

The apps needs a lot of work

Terrible UI/UX, the app doesn’t follow Apple’s human interface guidelines. Some buttons can’t be accessed especially on larger iPhones. The app is full of convoluted user journeys i.e to send money to mobile money, you first need to add a beneficiary and then go back to the mobile money menu to send money.

Since last year the number of ads keeps increasing all over the app. As of the last update a quarter of the home page is covered with a large banner ad.

Load times. Since the app is a web view instead of a native app, load times are usually slow and on slower internet connections this can be very annoying.

The team behind the app seems to be caught by surprise every time a new version of iOS is released. The app is never updated on time and when users upgrade to the latest versions of iOS they are left stranded and told to get another device for the time being(at their own cost)

SC key registration is a hot mess and fails often. While the idea is good, OTP should be handled by a separate service or app or users should be given the option to opt into less secure channels such as sms if need be to avoid being completely locked out of their accounts.

App not working on iOS

This iOS app seems to have a glitch—it keeps redirecting to a website. I did reach out to the team, but the suggested resolution of uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work. As a last resort, they recommended a factory reset, which is quite extreme. Hoping for a better solution.
