Personal Loan Eligibility:
* Basic salary should be above Rs. 17,000 per month
* Age should be above 18 and a Sri Lankan citizen with valid NIC
* Should be a verified user of LB CIM Wallet

How to apply for a LB Personal Loan:
* Log in to the app and click the ‘Request a Loan’ option
* Fill your details and upload basic documents to initiate the digital KYC process
* Upon evaluation and approval, funds will be credited to your CIM account

Documents required for Personal Loan:
* Proof of identity (NIC/ Passport/ Driving License)
* Proof of address
* Proof of income (Pay Slips and Salary Account Bank Statements)

Personal Loan Repayment Period:
* Minimum repayment period - 3 months
* Maximum repayment period - 12 months
* Loan amounts starting from Rs. 25,000 up to Rs. 100,000

Annual Percentage Rate (APR) on loan products:
* 03 Months - 32.44%
* 06 Months - 28.39%
* 09 Months - 27.04%
* 12 Months - 26%

Sample Loan Calculation (12 Months):
* Loan Amount: Rs 77,000 at an interest rate of 2.00% per month (Flat Rate)
* Loan Duration: 12 Months
* Total Interest: Rs 18,480
* Processing Fees (PF) [2% of the requested loan amount]: Rs 1,540
Stamp Duty [0.1% of the requested loan amount] = Rs 77 (This is to be recovered and paid to the Govt.)
Total Deductibles (PF + Stamp Duty): Rs 1,617

In-Hand Amount: Loan Amount - Total Deductibles = Rs 77,000 - 1,617 = Rs 75,383
Total Repayable Amount: Rs 95,480
No of Equal Monthly Rentals: 12
Equal Monthly Rental (EMI) Amount: Rs 7,957

** The deductibles (PF + Stamp duty) is deducted upfront during the loan disbursal.

Worst banking app I ever used

Schedule payment run twice and debited twice from my account

I have to call to branch to know my loan and power draft balance

Trashiest app!

For days I’ve been trying to register and failed due to app issues. Finally got the customer service agent to create an account from the backend. Then couldn’t add a bank account to make the payment which delayed my installment payment. They shouldn’t release untested apps for customer use. We don’t have time to come behind you’rl to fix issues! Funniest part is you can’t even see the font color on iOS dark mode! What a joke🤦🏻‍♀️
