PERSONALISATION
Personalise your app with what matters to you first & get important information at a glance.
> The Quick Balance feature offers a quick view of your account balance on homescreen (up to 3 accounts).
> Give your account a Nickname for your own easier reference.
> Pin your favourite account as top to be shown as the first account in the summary for the respective account type.
EASY ACCESS
> Faster account checking, QR payments with the Navigation Bar on app.
> Quick access to your banking functions for a faster transaction with Quick Menu on homescreen (you could customise this!) or account page.
> View your OCTO transaction history on homescreen. You could also Share Receipt with the recipients when you need to.
> Speed up your frequent transactions by saving your frequent billers/recipients as Favourites
QUICK PAYMENT
Have your transactions completed faster yet still securely with biometric ID or 6-digit passcode, no lengthy password is needed. You have the control to decide the limit for Quick Payment up to RM500.

Flexi Payment Plan is now available on CIMB OCTO App!
You can now convert your credit card transactions into a monthly instalment plan on your credit card via CIMB OCTO App.
To apply for Flexi Payment Plan, tap on 'Apply' > 'Cards' > 'FPP' and follow the instructions.

transaction history description
good job cimb on the new app. The UI is great, totally changed the whole banking experience compared to previous app which had so many bugs. but there are still improvements to made for a seamless experience.
A few things that must be added to improve user experience. In the transaction history, please make the transfer description visible on the list of transactions in accounts page. Not all users would want to expand each transaction to see what the what the description was. Also, you may want to remove the transaction number and add WHO the money was transferred to. 99% users do not care about the transaction number btw. This app has so much potential, so please do it right this time.

Need multiple profile access
It's a good app to replace the ageing Cimb octo but we need multiple profile access! Cimb’s solution is to consolidate all accounts into one access but the problem is, each debit card is matched to only one Cimb Clicks user ID! If 1 consolidate all my accounts to one access, I have to give up my other debit card(s). Sure when withdrawing at the ATM I can choose which account to withdraw money from, but unless there is a way to choose which account to deduct money from when paying by chip & pin or wave at retail terminals, I have to maintain more than one debit card! And now with the phasing out of classic Cimb Clicks, I am stuck. I can't be carrying around 2/3 phones just for secure TAC approval access that is just not practical! CIMB wake up!

UI, UX & Compatibility
The new CIMB app is a welcome update. It makes apt use of FaceID for many basic functionalities, most importantly viewing balance and recent transactions without having to input password.
One minor oversight is that, on iPhone 14 Pro models with the Dynamic Island, some UI elements are not behaving as expected. For example, clicking on the Notification bell on the top right opens the Notifications page, but the wording is obscured. Also, the edit and back buttons don’t respond to user input presumably as a result of being situated on the device’s menu bar itself.
With a few post-release maintenance, this app is a worthy upgrade from CIMB Clicks. Kudos!
