salam and hey there, so i used this app for several types but just want to say that i’m happy to see our local navigation app is here and i praise for yall’s effort on having the basis of ideas on creating this app. i think the features inserted may be useful for our citizens. however, there’s still a lot to do with this app. i’m no tech developer but speaking as a user, i find this app interface is too simple, too boring. even the pictures showcasing this app looks disappointing. try to fix the design and make it looks premium, neat, pleasant to the eyes of the user.second, while navigating, the app tends to flicker with no proper orientation of the direction. it is also not smooth. even, the choose of road can be confusing since it’s so fixated to one road without having any other alternatives. maybe it has something to do with its programming or coding but i do hope these can be fixed.lastly, the voice for navigation. it sounds so robotic, no enthusiasm, can be annoying sometimes. maybe can try to find other voices or redo the recording of the voices.that’s all for now, i do hope that this app can develop more further, surpasses the other apps as this one will be special for Malaysians. keep it going, take all the advices from the users as a platform for improvements. thanks.
Improvements Needed

Tried it for the first time in Alor Setar and it got me to where I was going without any fuss. I even detoured from the prescribed route to throw it off, but it adjusted accordingly. While that says a lot for a Malaysian government app, there are still some things I'd like to see in future updates. Bear in mind I'm a first time user and the features I'm mentioning may already be there but I've yet to find them. The first is a choice of language. I switched my Waze to BM only because I got lost in Penang following its directions. Local names pronounced in English can sometimes be both misleading and hilarious.Secondly, the facility to mark a location as home for easier navigation, especially on the return leg of the trip.Thirdly, provision to preview the routes to familiarise with the trip.Last but not least, fix the flickering issue. While it's not that bad or hamper with the navigation, a smoother running app would provide for a better experience.
Stone Age app

Here’s a sharp, critical statement that expresses your frustration while keeping it articulate and impactful.Tuju’s interface looks pale, feels unresponsive, and has a nostalgic aesthetic that reminds me more of an old FINAS film production than a modern navigation app. Honestly, if Tuju is supposed to replace Waze, I have serious doubts about whether it is ready for the job. A navigation app needs to be responsive, reliable, and capable of handling massive numbers of users simultaneously. Yet, at this point, Tuju isn’t even working properly for me. Before talking about replacing an established app like Waze, perhaps the priority should be getting the basics right: a functional interface, a smooth user experience, and a server infrastructure capable of handling real-world demand. Ambition is good, but execution is what matters.
Looking Forward to Future Updates

Proud to support a homegrown Malaysian navigation app. 🇲🇾 TuJu has great potential to become something much bigger than just a highway navigation app. Expanding into a complete navigation solution covering both highways and city roads, while enhancing real-time traffic updates, smart rerouting, and community reporting, would make it a strong local alternative. Leveraging official Malaysian road data, CCTV, flood alerts, toll information, and R&R facilities is a unique advantage. Wishing the team every success in building a navigation app that all Malaysians can proudly use and support.
We fixed app crashes, and improved performance for a smoother experience.
