Personalise your profile by uploading your own profile picture or setting a desired theme.
Allow to manage your own devices that activated with Quick Balance, DuitNow QR or to delink.
PB engage will seek permission for the following:
• Access to your fingerprint/Face ID for Quick Balance, DuitNow QR, and PB SecureSign authorisation.
• Access to your camera/photo for profile personalisation and DuitNow QR scanning.
• Access to your location for device authentication and security purposes.
• Access to your contact directory to give you the convenience to select your contacts when you perform either DuitNow or Prepaid Top-Up.
PB engage is available for Public Bank Berhad and Public Islamic Bank Berhad retail customers in Malaysia only.

There are multiple issues that I encounter with this app but the above is the only error that I keep seeing. This is by far the most annoying app due to the error above. Worst still eversince the end of TAC and the start of securesign I was forced to keep coming back to this annoying app. I checked the app revision history. Almost every month or week there is enhancement and improvement done yet nothing seems to solve. And the best part the developer will reply to ask us email them our phone detail, OS detail etc. what for? do u mean it only works on certain phone or OS? Just ask urself why is other banking app have no problem but only urs? If u can’t figure out then go learn from other developer.
Competency is the key. By sitting on it keep figuring out urself hoping that some thing magical will happen in ur brain only means that customer is slowly cashing out going to another bank. No joke!
P/S: this is the first time I reviewed an app because Public bank is a reputable company. It is crazy if Public bank choose not to take this seriously. I mean super urgent seriousness. U don’t need to wait to have 10,000 bad reviews only to realise is too late.

Very slow TAC.
I have downloaded this application, because the website does not work for me. Whenever, I tried to log into the Pbebanking website, a warning, saying that my browsers are outdated, pops out , so I could not log in. I tried with both Siri and Chrome, but both reacted the same. Maybe, my browsers are really outdated and old. I tried updating my browsers, but the App Store does not allow me to do so, because my iOS is too old.
Thus, I downloaded the Pb Engage App. It works , when I just want to check my account transactions and balances, but it is hard to work , when I want to make money-transfer ! Each time, I press the “request for TAC” button, I have to wait for more than 5 minutes, sometimes 10 minutes for the TAC to arrive into my phone’s inbox SMS! There are even times, when the TACs arrive, after five days, from the day that I requested for them via Pb Engage !
The worst part is , the transaction closes after 60 seconds of not keying-in a TAC.! How would I be able to key-in any TAC., when it only arrives 5 minutes or 5 days later !
Thus far, I have only done a third party money transfer successfully, after I have had this App for 4 months, and I have tried transferring 20 times!
The worst banking app ever
I hardly wrote review on app but public bank app is too much. I use to avoid to use their apps before it’s super slow, take forever to turn on the app and not sure why, when I try to use the app transfer the money, most of the time was turn out error. So I always use website even I on my phone I use safari to go on their web page. But PBE come out with the new idea, not getting TAC on SMS instead need to go on the app. If you want people to use your app, please put some money and some effort to make your app more efficient and friendly. I been trying to transfer money using the so called secure sign and first, need to updated the app(it always need to be update) then it took ages to load the app, finally go in the app, click the PB secure sign, then took another era to log in my account, finally logged into it, and the app just didn’t show up any detail for me to verify. Then need to do it over and over again. Is a 5 min thing to do, ended up take me 20min and I’m still trying to figure out how can I get it done. It’s completely upset and disappointed your customer.
