From time to time this app does not work. After password entered I could not select anything. I checked for updates and there was an update so after this is updated it still does not work for me. IOS 16.2. This is irritating as if I am fined I either ignore it or pay to avoid wasting my time trying to get app support which is so slow I am not waiting. Just go and use T&G if you could not manage this app. Save the cost of development and hosting and just negotiate with T&G. Everytime I get this issue I am able to use T&G to pay for my food and spend time fiddling with this unreliable software.

Ok I finally got it working again after phone is restarted. Everything else on the phone is working

The Penang Smart Parking app has become increasingly frustrating with recent updates. Not only does it now block users with VPNs enabled—a significant and unnecessary restriction for a simple parking payment app—but the developer has also released several unstable versions. These updates caused the app to become completely unusable, often crashing on startup.

Adding to this, the app now requires users to submit a selfie and IC for verification. This raises serious questions: Why does a parking app need such sensitive personal information? How is this data being stored and managed? Is it secure?

Given the history of unstable releases and poor quality control, how can we trust this developer to handle our sensitive data properly? Instead of making the app more user-friendly, these changes have created inconvenience and serious privacy concerns, undermining the app’s purpose of offering a seamless parking payment experience.

I recently used the parking app, and it turned out to be a disappointing ordeal. I paid through the app, but upon returning to my car, I found it compound with no record of my payment. The customer service response was even more disheartening – instead of acknowledging the app's fault, they questioned me, asking for proof of payment.

It's absurd to expect users to monitor the app 24/7. If I've paid, I expect the service to function as intended. Blaming users for app glitches is unacceptable. To top it off, I had to pay a compound fee for something beyond my control. This experience has left me frustrated, and I hope others are spared from such inconvenience.
