SPayGlobal (also known as Sarawak Pay) is the Sarawak Government Fintech mobile app platform that provides a convenient and secured e-wallet functionality. Users can make digital payment for bills and purchases at participating merchants. Users can top up their e-wallet through internet banking and credit cards and enjoy the convenience of cashless payments.
SPayGlobal allows users to:
- Scan & Pay using QR Codes
- Split bills amongst SPayGlobal users
- Perform peer to peer fund transfers
- Enjoy discounts vouchers within Loyalty Rewards
- Purchase and renew insurance, pay study loans, order food, make donations, pay for street parking, etc.

SPayGlobal is operated by SiliconNet Technologies Sdn Bhd (SNT), on behalf of the Sarawak Government.
SNT holds an eWallet license from Bank Negara Malaysia.

Sarawak Pay Team Response is Slow
I have been using Sarawak Pay ever since it came out and it has remained one of my go-to e-wallets. However things have really gone downhill since iOS 14 released. The iOS 14 beta released in June, how could the dev team not have been prepared for the official release in September? However, even after waiting, I could not login because SarawakPay remembered my old mobile number so I can’t receive the TAC number. I updated my number on SarawakPay, the number has also been updated in my SarawakID beforehand, if that has anything to do with it. Checked the FAQ page but there was only an answer for how to change SarawakID number. So I sent a ticket to SarawakPay customer services but it’s already been a week and there’s no news. Also emailed other customer service emails but to no avail. This is a government funded app, please pick up the pace.
Worst app ever
I had been waiting for my withdrawal of rm 92 since 12th of January. Service charge of rm1 is need to pay even the transaction need to be wait for 3-7days, which is obviously too long.
Ok fine, but after a week I still haven’t receive my money yet. After that I tried to call the customer service, ridiculously it cost me total of rm5 again for the phone call....The staff ask me to wait again for them to investigate. I had been waiting for update since 12 noon but nobody call me back, so I had to call them back again and yet nothing is done and I have to wait again... Excuse me isnt it I had already pay for the service charge, why they are no progress at all?Please increase the efficiency, plus some of the fees are really overcharging! Not only lot of my time is wasted, I need to spend rm 6 more to get my money back, and yet I still haven’t receive my money, this is unacceptable! All those rebate can’t event cover up my extra charges from u guys this time!
Please be fast and effective when solving problems as not everyone can wait for such a long time!
Registration = Frustration
Initially, I was so excited that finally we get to have something similar to Touch n go wallet or e wallet in Sarawak. However, the registration for new account really throws cold water on me in using this app. Filling in personal information has not been a problem until the verification process. It keeps popping up the message either saying your face is not the same as the one portray on NRIC or your NRIC picture is invalid. First of all, how can you expect one person face to be exact the same as NRIC you did 10 years before? Next, the important features; eyes, nose, ears, mouth are still the same, so why the system still detect that NRIC photo is not the same as the user face? I’ve been having the same problem even helping my parents to register their account. Please fix this issue as soon as possible. I really hope this frustrating bug can be fixed so that more users will use this app at ease.
