Great Way Store Currency
Love getting the current exchange rates & being able to upload multiple currencies.
I enjoy being able yo pay some of my monthly bills by the app so I gain air points (NZDis 1 point per $200 spent) without the need of a credit card. Just if you’re doing this there is a service fee charged.
Haven’t used it overseas yet but will be paying accommodation for OZ in a couple of weeks so it will be good to pay in OZ money & not worry about exchange rates on a credit card bill.
Frustrating
A poor substitute for the previous version. First off if I don’t log in each day I get a message when I next log in to say “Forgot your password” and nothing else. So tap the screen and another message comes up saying words to the effect that Onesmart will send an email to me for new password etc - nothing happens - the message just stays there and no emails received. The only way I go forward on this is to delete the app and start again!!
Secondly, there are many times when I just want to know the exchange rate - without having to go to a particular currency. It was so simple in the past when all rates for the various curencies was listed to one side.
Overall a backward step in a so called update.
Super handy everywhere
I have referred numerous people to use this card, it means you don’t need cash until you arrive at your destination. The ability to preload into a variety of currencies is excellent can’t recommend it enough. If your not sure, I’d say it’s the safest way to travel with money
