Google accounts get 15GB of storage, shared across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. For additional storage, you can upgrade to Google Workspace or Google One as an in-app purchase.

Storage subscriptions purchased from the app will be charged to your iTunes Account, and automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions and auto-renewal may be managed by going to iTunes Account Settings after purchase.

Four and a half stars!

Google drive is an amazing app. I love the fact you can access all of the google apps from one platform, and easily organise things into coloured folders. Also useful is the sharing feature, so that you can share something with someone, change their viewing permission and just generally, collaborate. The only thing I wish is that there was some kind of select tool. It’s super annoying if you have to share heaps of things, or like, transfer them between accounts. Also wish there was an option to turn of the ‘This person is not in the same google group as you’ as it gets really annoying also. Overall though, it think this is a wonderful app, 100% worth getting!

Better Than Apple Cloud Storage

Apple makes you pay $20 for 10GB+ a year which is a rip-off. Nobody wants to use a credit card only cash, and 1 time payments only. But Google Drive lets you store however much photos and videos for free for 15GB. Apple adds extra non existent cloud storage you haven’t used and say you’ve nearly used them all. Google Drive doesn’t lie about how many cloud storage you’ve used. Coz 500 photos and 200 5minute videos should only be 1.5GB like Google says

Convenient but disorganised

Convenient free space with sharing capabilities (but only to other google users). However, it is annoying to organise and is an online tool only (offline is a waste of time).
Especially difficult is organising folders and files that have been shared with you. Google assumes you will access shared material using Google’s search for key words - fine if the title or contents contain that exact key word, but if not, that material is effectively lost. There’s also the problem that searching on a particular word can distort Google’s data profile for you, even if you’re only using that word to locate a file on a unrelated topic (e.g. the technical paper with the metaphor about ‘cheese’).
