…tell a good experience and hopefully as best as possible accurately estimating petrol costs for trips within NZ. So far app was very easy to download in seconds includes full install, and without needing to divulge any personal information well that is if you consider you car rego personal. However it is used to give you a more personalised estimate assuming you’ll be using the car that the rego you’ve entered for your trip that you are trying to get petrol costs for. I do find it interesting however that the app estimates cost from point A to point B without the obvious consideration of speed, hills/terrain and detours along the way. Perhaps I will need to look into this, other than my possibly irrelevant points I think this app so far is sound and very useful. Will see.

Best app for planning road trips. Especially love the ability to calculate split costs based on multiple people... not to mention the costs are based on my actual car. This is awesome! Highly recommend.

Frustrating and inaccurate

I purchased this app to help give me a guide for fuel efficiency when purchasing a new vehicle. The fuel cost constantly changed even when I searched the exact same trip for the exact same vehicle. On the day I cancelled my subscription I opened the app to a blank screen. Deleted and reinstalled the app then it tried to charge me for a new subscription. Don’t waste your money or time there are other more accurate apps.

The trip cost will change if you do the trip another day, because the average price of petrol / diesel changes to reflect the real-time prices in your region.
