Update

Nice and simple layout with new update.

Only complaint I have is no more receipt that comes up straight after you’ve made a payment? Instead it just says done and dusted or something

I like to send a screenshot of my receipt.l after making payments to people. Instead of having to screenshot from my account and crop out my other transactions

Worst Service Is Uber ,

Disappointing Service. Questionable Customer Support

Last month I went through their process of joining/opening an account with them. Sent all relevant information they required and heard nothing back from them.

I emailed last week to check in on how my application was going and they emailed back saying I had to reapply because my application from a few weeks ago was in their old system...🤷‍♂️??? No one from this bank thought to contact me earlier regarding this or even let me know there were different systems or an explanation. Sounds disorganised and shady. Trusting a bank with your hard earned cash that fails to keep you informed or customer support who does not follow up and keeps the customer waiting thinking they’re account is being processed when all along they are doing nothing. Not the best way to gain customers or keep customers. Extremely disappointed and let down.

I joined using the app, then after waiting for a few weeks without hearing from them I decided to email to check on the progress. In which they said my join us application was in the old system and I had to reapply through mobile which I had initially done but seems there are different systems that we’re (prospective customers) are not aware of so I have to reapply but wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t checked to see the progress.

The app is trash

This app is literally trash. It doesn’t work. Attempted to sign up four times now. The photo taking process is really finicky - almost impossible to get the box to turn green. Finally got it only to receive an email that says to reapply. After three try again emails, now I’m stuck on “sorry we had a problem” in the app itself.

Not worth the hassle - clearly they don’t want customers if this is how appalling the sign up process is. You’d also wonder how they treat the customers they already have if this is the experience new customers get.

You’d have to wonder if anyone actually tested the app and the sign up flow before they released it or indeed at any point during dev.

I'm sorry that you've had such a terrible time trying to join Co-op using the app. We are aware that some applicants have problems with the photo capture in the join us part of the app. It doesn't affect everyone but for those affected it is very frustrating.

We are close to fixing this problem and it should be released over the next few months.

If you haven't been able to join yet, we'd love it if you could give it a try! Just download version 5.10 of the app and select 'Join us'.
