Description
This app comes with a BaybayinPlus keyboard, which can be added as 3rd party keyboard through the Settings->General->Keyboards menu of iOS devices.
There is also a translator to and from Baybayin and several languages. The translator can either be live (text overlay on camera view) or snap and translate mode.
The keyboard is a semi-traditional Baybayin characters and not the modern alphabet (as of this version).
There is also a Look-up table in the app for easy reference.
I intentionally made it like this to let the early learners understand how our own words were shaped without the need of all modern day consonants and vowels.
The keyboard app, if properly added in your settings, allows user to use Baybayin keyboard in all apps that allow third party keyboard. That means you can have a chat in Baybayin, type a Facebook post in Baybayin, type Baybayin notes, and more. Just tap the Globe icon in your keyboard to switch to the Baybayin keyboard after addition via Settings.
It would be best that before any word gets converted to Baybayin it should be translated to a local dialect first. The live translation which is the default Home Screen of the app is raw translation. Use this with proper context.

Last update was better than the latest one
My review would’ve been 5 starts out of 5 stars if they didn’t change the way you type the scripts. It was way easier to learn & was also challenging to type words without seeing the alphabet on the side. Please bring back the old update
The keyboard looks cramped, and the colours are distracting
I really like the new update! It’s less of a hassle to use and feels smoother than earlier versions. I have a few suggestions on making this a bit better! I hope you find this helpful.
I really like the idea of blue and red on the keyboard, representing the Philippines Flag. But it’s just too much of an eye-sore. I hope you make the keyboard’s colour more on the dull side. Like the IOS keyboard, shades of grey, black and white...
The spacing of each character also looks very cramped. I suggest adding a bit more space in between each of the letters/syllable. Also, make the characters a bit taller, I feel that some would have a hard time pressing a key, especially if they have big thumbs.
The keyboard’s very high up on the screen, it isn’t touching the bottom of the screen. It feels weird to type on it.
I also suggest you add modern characters like the letter R, Z, X, V, and F. I don’t see the need of adding the letter c though. Because we can just use the letter S or K in place of C.

Switching time
Please update the scripts into the modern Baybayin now so we may be able to use such syllabary scripts like “ra” the modern “r” and “c”, “ca”, ngi, ngu and so on. I already seen the modern baybayin script and it’s more complete and i think that version is more applicable in this era. I admire you for lending your valuable time in promoting our ancient script writing through this app. Thank you !
