Really Hassle Lack of Guidelines and Poor Customer Service
I am having problem enrolling my account in this new app for a week now. When signing up, it says that I my contact number/ email address were invalid. I don’t know why because I know that I have entered the correct details. I only have two contact numbers but both didn’t work. I only have one email address but still it says that is invalid. I have tried emailing to metrobank’s customer service and it took them 2 days to respond. The response however wasn’t helpful at it did not contain any clear instruction about the issue. This app is helping metrobank get bad reviews and make client experience burdensome. Now I am guessing that I will not get any response soon from customer services because its already weekend. Therefore, this app is yet again preventing me from accessing my funds with metrobank. Completely defeats the purpose why we trust our funds with metrobank and why there is mobile banking facility. I wish they hadn’t change their app, the previous one was more convenient and user friendly.
Hassle and disappointing
I just received my new credit card and i was trying to enroll it to online banking but it says that my details are incorrect so i called their customer service and they said that the email address is not right so they updated it. For the second time i enrolled again but same thing details are incorrect. I called metrobank again and they said i already have a online user profile account, i told them that it was a payroll account from my previous employer and i no longer have access to that email address. I called again and was transferred to different agents just to delete or update the email address but none of them was able to help (whats the purpose of your customer support if your unable to help) and they suggested that i go to the branch where it was opened and i told them that i cant go to the branch because i am an ofw. Two weeks already since i received my card and i havent use it nor the problem was solved. I already contacted BSP to ask for assistance and yet i still dont have an online account. Why are you making it hard for your customer to just update a simple information? Other bank like EASTWEST you can just update your contact information through their chatbot yet metrobank a company that is big as it already is making it hard!!!

Guinness World Record for worst mobile bankingApp!!
I had been trying to enroll my credit card to the new website app not the mobile because I’m not confident using a mobile many issues like theft,hack. After numerous tries still got errors initially my phone is not in sync take note the old site metrobank direct has incorporated my credit card info it’s very user friendly. I don’t need to enroll it. If you’re an IT expert you should let users experience A BETTER system and not just remove credit card information and let your clients have to register it on their own like it’s a new credit card. Finally an agent said the site no longer has credit card registry either use metrobankcard site or mobile app to access it. So IT IS THE USER THAT IS ADJUSTING to the system without considering a survey !
So I was forced to download this app just to check my credit card statement. While registering it turns out I can’t use the email address that was registered from day one that I had open my savings account and I have to use another email address. WHY??!!!Before an app is launch it should under go many simulation this one is like the only guy that will accept this changes is the IT manager. This is absurd and two steps backward app.
