I have been using this RCBC Pulz app since its first launch. The RCBC Pulz is good and got all the digital banking transactions. It has a digital loan feature that is really useful whenever you need financial support. Such as a Salary loan, which is flexible and can set the amount and payment period needed. However, there was an issue with the Amortization schedule page that I encountered. The schedule does not match the transaction that was debited from my payroll account. I have already raised this issue with customer support multiple times since June 6, 2024 regarding a case that remains unresolved. Even though the loan has been fully paid, the Amortization schedule still displays a pending payment due. Until the amortization schedule is cleared, making another loan transaction is not possible due to the salary loan feature not being displayed. My expectation is that bringing this to the developer's attention will resolve this concern as soon as possible.

Annoying Inconvenience
AnnoyedPinoy197
RCBC online used to be my go-to banking app until they released this Pulz version. Looks-wise it has a bit smoother interface, but there are bugs that until now still remain unresolved. I’ve had a credit card that’s been active for several years that I was able to use for Unli Pay transactions several times in the past until RCBC issues me a new card that’s supposed to serve as my old one’s replacement (but do take note that my existing card doesn’t expire for several months). Regardless, I activate it in the hopes that I don’t have to deal with any more problems, but no. IN SPITE OF ACTIVATING the new card already, a prompt repeatedly hinders me from using it for Unli Pay transactions telling me to “please activate the card” first. I’ve already used the card for Unli Pay before, and have also used it outside at restaurants. There’s obviously a glitch that to this day is still unresolved. Not to mention that sometimes the app also has a bug that just tells you you’re already logged in when you’re not. (Which in turn doesn’t allow you to log in). I’ve put up with this for far too long and honestly, this is the first time I’ve ever felt the need to rant about an app. Funny thing about this is all I see RCBC doing in the reviews section is refer you to their customer service hotline which for one, takes AGES for an agent to pick up, and two rarely EVER offers you a convenient resolution to your concern. So all-in-all this app is a 1-star unless they fix up the bugs. You’re better off using the BPI online banking app if you ask me. (it has bugs too but at least they’re not as annoying and a nuisance as this)

After Fixing my CCs - Way better!
jclanuza
Update: I’m glad RCBC is making things better along the way. They were able to fix my issue of credit cards not showing in the pulz app. This is better for me than the old digital app. Kudos to your tech team! Not able to see my credit card accounts since I received my second card. Previously I’m able to see my card when I only had one. Now I cant see both of them. Even when I do the Manage Accounts in the Credit Card tab, it shows the cards but when I save the settings, it still does not show the cards. It just displays “nothing to display” on the Credit card tab. I’m able to access the cards fine in the Old app but I wish this gets fixed soon in the Pulz app. Currently even paying bills via Pulz is not possible since it cant detect my cards. So frustrating.

Painfully Inefficient
Stroda17
I can’t bring to explain how bad this app is. At first, it was alright. But this week has been a disaster. Overnight it stopped working and wouldn’t let me log into my account, claiming “connection problems” when all of my other banking apps are working. The app wouldn’t work regardless of the WiFi, data, etc. I could only access my account using the website while using data, mind you. The app wouldn’t even let me reset my password, because I had no idea what was happening and was terrified someone might be trying to hack into my account. When I finally managed to get traction on Pulz, I had to re-register my device. And then after the 24 hour waiting time after registration was over, the app told me my password was incorrect when it literally just worked on the website! The inconsistencies and inefficiencies are so disappointing. And this is coming from a Hexagon member. I suggest forgoing this app altogether if you want some peace of mind and just use the old-fashioned website.
