Service agents are not regarding the records applied on the app.

The service agent are not yet totally regarding on the app records. Twice already that they ask me about the details of the request where in fact everything was already written on the app application.

Using the app to book a service is useless. Confirmation is done only when someone calls you up but you’re actually waiting for nothing since not all branches use the app for. They’re probably not yet ready to adapt digitally. No algorithm used in search. You have to know the exact name of the accessory or it will not yield any results. Accessories not compatible to the unit you registered shows first and they’re a lot. Would have been better if it’s already pre-filtered to show all relevant accessories to the unit registered. Why have the user register it in the first place?! It’s also a waste that this app does not integrate at all with their Toyota Wallet app. Of all the secured payment apps we already have, why will I risk my security to use yours? Looks to me like the only purpose of making these apps is for Toyota to say that we have a lot of apps in the App Store. To be honest, it’s a waste of space on my phone in its current state. Would have loved it if Apple Carplay works wirelessly. Come on, Toyota, you can do much better. If I get a developer reply to this review that’s copied and pasted like the rest of you, we all know where this is going or not going. I am on the latest version available. 😉😉😉

Cannot register the VIN/Chassis #

Purchased a brand new unit and very excited to use the myToyota app but an error “Something went wrong. Please try again” occurred when registering the VIN. Tried to contact the customer support. Received a response from Customer Support stating “As per our site developer - as per checking, the vehicle has already added to the account with mobile number ending in 825xx. Kindly advise the customer to access the account using the registered mobile number” which this mobile number is not mine and the developer may added incorrect mobile number. Currently, I am stuck to a new error “This vehicle belongs to someone else in our record”. Already emailed customer support but no response.I would like to know if registering a new unit will undergo series of validation before it will be successfully registered on the user account. I am wondering how the system check and validate the legitimacy of the user.
