Lacks real-time transaction logging

In this modern day and age of tech, most if not all banks offer the ability to view transactions in real-time. I’ve been with BPI for the past 7 years and their mobile app is superb! Credit card transactions get logged immediately you swiped your card, if not the latest is the next day. This is important for people who use their cards and monitor budget a lot! I’ve also used the BDO mobile app and it does the same as BPI! My friend who’s with Metrobank also gets the same. Logging on to the website does not help either as it just merely mirrors what you see on the mobile app! I feel this app is 10 years behind everyone else! Yes-everyone else!

Worst in Customer Service!

Worst Customer Service Hotline : Security Bank’s hotline number.

I can’t withdraw cash using my ATM. I don’t know why. I went to the Security Bank branch where I opened my account to ask if they put a hold or blocked my ATM. The teller said no, my account is active and just told me to contact customer service. I told her I already did and all I’m getting is a automated message that says my account number is invalid. She told me it’s normal, just keep re-entering until I get a hold of an available rep. Seriously? how is that normal?? They already know that something is wrong with their CS hotline yet they did not bother to have it fixed?? I stayed on the phone for 30 mins to keep re-entering my acct number and yet after more than 30 mins, I haven’t got any rep. I’ve wasted money, time, effort and gas just to go to their branch but i did not get any resolution! They didn’t even know what’s going on with my card. They should have offered to replace my card since they said that it’s still active on their system. But they did not, they pushed me to call their useless hotline number. My house is 1hr and 30 min drive going to the nearest branch. I’ve wasted more or less 3 hours, and here I am, still can’t withdraw my money. Switching to Security Bank (Iloilo Business Park) Security Bank (Iloilo-Ledesma) Security Bank (Iloilo-Iznart) is one of the biggest mistake that I did. You can’t get any immediate assistance.!

Worst Bank EVER!!!!

I went to the physical establishment itself for an inquiry because we neither received a notice of confirmation that my payroll debit card is already available nor any exact answer from the physical bank itself. All I want is to inquire from them to get clarifications to make further actions on what steps I should make moving forward; instead, the lady who happens to be the bank manager approached and instead of giving me further actions, she raised her voice and even banged the bag full of ATM cards assuming that I was blaming them for negligence. What a horrible experience! All I ask is to give me further actions cause I already had approached our HR and inquire with them since I got a verbal confirmation from the other branch where I took my last transaction that my ATM is already available on the issuing branch. I never ask for an explanation as to who’s to blame and who’s at fault. I just want a confirmation and further instructions. ISN’T IT THAT SIMPLE!!!! I WAS EVEN PLANNING ON OPENING A BUSINESS SAVINGS ACCOUNT THAT AT THAT MOMENT BUT THE SITUATION HAD ESCALATED, SO I CHANGED MY MIND!!! I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS AGAIN WITH SECURITY BANK. UNLIKE ANY OTHER BANKS, SECURITY BANK HAS THE POOREST AND MOST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER RELATION.
