Excellent Customer Service and Transparent Loan Process

I recently applied for a loan with Tonik, and I was truly impressed with how smooth and stress-free the entire experience was. Their customer service was outstanding—the agent who assisted me was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. They made sure to explain every step clearly and answered all my questions without any hesitation.What I appreciated most was the transparency of the loan process. All fees, interest rates, and repayment terms were clearly stated upfront—no hidden charges or confusing terms. The app interface was also user-friendly, making the whole process even more convenient.Overall, I’m really happy with Tonik’s service. Competitive savings products but VERY slow customer support

Great product but VERY slow customer service. Despite being available “24/7” the resolution is not immediate. My recent pain point with them was the pull-up for updating personal information. It’s not easy to update or change employment types. The live chat took 10 mins just for me to request the change only to be given a TICKET NUMBER. It has been more than 14 days, I’ve followed up via email and it’s still processing. If you will put a pop-up that’s disrupting me from being able to access my account you should also be prompt in updating my account once I’ve provided the necessary info as part of your KYC/BSP compliance. Please improve on that aspect of your service.Dropping my rating by another star. Sent a follow-up and was still not given a resolution. They mentioned they’re receiving a lot of verifications. But waiting beyond 14 days is unacceptable. I have never encountered a bank that doesn't provide access to one’s account even after being given the necessary documents. I asked if I can just close my account and move my funds out. Ironic that it’s easier to close an account than be provided access so you can top-up your deposit. So frustrating!

Been using Tonik since May, and I think Tonik is better than other banking apps currently in the app store. Made an account in less than 5 minutes, and I deposited in my account the next day. Its easier and more fun to save money with this bank considering the interest rates they offer. They offer free cash-in when you connect your BPI account (which is what I mainly use for topping up). Also, their in-app customer service is easily accessible either chat or call. No need to wait for long queues using your telephone just to ask a question. I’m excited for what Tonik would offer next since their current products are quite promising considering that they have only been around for about a year.

I just had to make a review for this app because Tonik’s virtual visa card is the BEST compared to other popular mobile wallet apps like gcash and paymaya. Tonik’s virtual card is like a saving grace when i need a credit/debit card for paying college fees or for mobile data load. Moreover, their user interface is very attractive, easy to use, and very laidback. I would definitely use this as a student because it is very convenient for my needs! Again, it is handy to use for virtual transactions. However, i would probably not use this if i were to store larger amounts of money. Because their liability policies in their T&C’s are not ideal if you get yourself into a situation. Best if you put your savings into banks with secure conditions in case you lose money.

Not using the Tonik app and these features: - Loan offers made more accessible (than Hawkins Lab) - Better ID capture, like Eleven's powers every season - New billers (not demogorgons) - In-app inbound call (so we can reach you in the Upside Down) - Safer and improved onboarding (no surprises like Will's...)
