Move-out
Easy and convenient. Procedure just on tip of your fingers 🙌🏻. This is what I love about Qatar🫶🏻. They are trying their best to make everything easy for residents. If it was in my home country, it will take me maybe weeks or month to cancel my electricity. 😅
My request is always rejected
The app is good but the response of the customer service is always generic.
The primary problem is they keep on rejecting my request because they said the “ID is expired” despite uploading multiple times an updated one. Who will keep expired QID anyway? This issue keeps on giving me loop of frustrations because each time i think i resolve the problem, i am meet with the same response which cause significant delay in my request.
I try to reach out to customer service, but the response is always unhelpful. Today i spoke with a staff with a noticeable Filipino accent, she insisted that i uploaded the expired one, despite my insistence that i uploaded the most recent one. I was expectinh a more responsive approach to troubleshoot the issue but unfortunately, that is not my experience.
Overall, while the Kahramaa app is a valuable tool, the glitches and lack of technical support makes it a source of frustration rather than a convenience.

Stuck with no explanation
When submitting for “move out”, the date is not flexible and there is no explanation except Friday and Saturday are off. Today is Wednesday Feb 28 and i wanted to cutoff Electricity and water immediately or tomorrow but the system does not allow and again with no explanation. The systems forced me to cut it off next Sunday.
Besides, as there are two different services with two different numbers, i did the electricity, but how do i know the cutoff is for the two services?
