To experience George on mobile/tablet, you need an account with BCR as well as a valid George account. The application requires at least iOS 10.3 and It works also on iOS-powered tablets.

We are continuously working to improve the George application.
I have prepared something for Juniors too! A tour of the application for the little ones who are about to turn 14. Also, parents will be able to display or hide the foreign currency accounts from the Parental Control section. If you want to call the Contact Center, you will find a new topic for financial coaching.
We are open to feedback and value our users very much.
Ratings and Reviews
Clean
I like the clean UI, easy to use, haven’t had issues. Would like to see a language selection option in the app, rather than using the system language. Banking is one of the few apps I prefer in Romanian, yet my phone is set to English. Also there’s a lot of unnecessary confirmations when modal pages are being closed. Seems like every product in the Store needs confirmation before exiting, even when I haven’t acted upon the page (no input, no clicks, no nothing). Payment notes shouldn’t be mandatory, it’s the only banking app I’ve tried that absolutely needs this info. Templates should allow saving with amount set to 0 (useful when I wanna save a template that needs variable amounts every time). Also bank statements dont contain the address, which makes them useless as proof-of-address for various services.
Best mobile banking so far
I have tried almost all the other mobile banking applications from the top bank in Romania either for personal or business. This one looks and feels the most human, has great products in the store and it is the easiest to use. There are few things that could be definitely improved, but no other banking application in Romania satisfied me as good as this one. Keep on going👍🏻
Missing feature
I like the app. It has almost all the features needed for a banking app, but it has a big minus from my point of view. I would like to have the change language feature without changing the device language.
I used to have english as device language and setting the app language to Romanian language.
That’s the reason why I give only 4 stars.
