Seems like a re-skin of other games, but still fun to play
I knew about the Might & Magic series but never play one. This game, in the first glance, looks like a re-skin version of other mobile games. Too many similar elements. However it is not bad by itself. The game is overall balanced and pretty much free-to-play friendly. Although they did pushed out lots of reward campaign for crystal recharge. I like how the developers tried to squeeze in the lore even though they knew very well that most players just skip & ignore them. The tactical side is emphasized heavily, especially on the training missions. One can even beat a moderately stronger team if the strategy is right.
I stopped playing during Day 6 as I felt horrible on eliminating some of the side quest enemies. I guess I was pampered by the recent console games which offered multiple choices on story progression.
Overcharged
Be careful when you make in app purchase. You may want to take a picture when you make a purchase and check against your card statement to confirm if they charge the correct amount.
I was overcharged during one of their event. Took one month to compensate (in app currency) not refund the overcharged amount. I email them a few times (I was not told if I was going to be refunded in the form of in app currency or my card). When I ask for an update, the customer rep reply to tell me that he has no info and told me to check in my inbox of game daily to see if there was any refund!!! Isnt it the job for them to check with the department in charge before replying me?
I make more than one purchase during the event but their compensation was given for only one purchase. When I ask for a refund of the overcharged amount only, they directed me to Apple but as I don’t have any proof, I can’t get back the overcharged amount.
