Good improvements, but can do more
This latest version is far better than what was offered in the past. Language is clear and layout is easy enough to use - although I had to search for a few things for a while. Love that I can get my post sales illustration online and refresh my memory about basic information regarding my policies and make adminstrative changes like payment plans without talking to humans. Would love a live chat function.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse
Constantly having to login with ID and password is such a pain; apparently there’s an option to make touch/Face ID an option under My Profile - unfortunately that page doesn’t seem to be working, can’t see any such options at all and can’t do anything on that page at all. Supposedly need to change my IC no. to another user ID on that page, but similarly can’t do so. And the constant pop-ups notifying me to register for an AIA account are annoying and completely unnecessary - would I be logged in if I didn’t have an account?! Doesn’t even make sense. Seriously AIA, your apps just get worse every single update, just when we thought it wouldn’t be possible. Is it really that hard to hire a decent app developer, and consider some decent UX??
Non user friendly app
I agree with other reviewers about the app now need to constantly ‘log in’. They is no ‘remember me’ or ‘stay logged in’ feature. Imagine if you need to access your vitality rewards quickly in a cashier queue, this is just too frustrating. The developing team obviously are not user of the app themselves. Regarding changing of user ID - one has to dig deep into the menu under My Account > My Profile (under insurance section)>Settings (click on ‘expand all’) before one can find it. Also the number 2FA authentication is just too much! The whole flow of using the app is just downright awful and the developing team should be ashamed of themselves for giving us user this kind of experience. Having to pay monthly $5 for signing up for AIA vitality makes me feel even worst.
