Description
The NUHS App is a mobile healthcare app solution that aims to empower, engage and enable patients to manage and take charge of their health. Developed by the National University Health System (NUHS) and Synapxe Pte. Ltd. (formerly known as Integrated Health Information Systems Pte Ltd), users will be able to access health information and services across the following NUHS institutions:
• National University Hospital
• Ng Teng Fong General Hospital
• Alexandra Hospital
• Jurong Community Hospital
• National University Polyclinics
• National University Heart Centre, Singapore
• National University Cancer Institute, Singapore
• National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore
• Jurong Medical Centre
Patients will be able to:
• Manage their appointments and receive notifications for appointment reminders
• Register on the go and check their queue status
• Request for medication refills or top-ups
• Purchase and download their medical reports directly from the app
• View and make payment for outstanding bills
• Access the app using biometric data such as fingerprint and facial recognition
• Link to ‘MyInfo’ in Singpass for a more convenient set up of 'My Profile'
• Pre-fill appointment and medication request forms with their contact details once 'My Profile' has been set up
• Enable caregiver consent to access functions of the app
• View health records such as lab test results, immunisation and prescription records
• Obtain recommendations on health screenings and vaccinations based on their demographics and health status
• Interact with the chatbot to obtain information on clinic operating hours and other commonly asked questions
NUHS App uses HealthKit to access health information via your health devices.

One of the better health apps which I used
Probably one of the better health apps which I have used over the past few years. The app layout is clean and not too cluttering. There’s enough white space in the app so it doesn’t feel too overcrowded. The app contents are easy to understand and navigate without needing to toggle through many screens. It is just a few clicks away, and easy to reschedule or cancel any upcoming appointments. It’s also nice how I can track the bills which I have paid over the kiosks and app over the past few months and I can download invoices easily. No more needing to shred hard copy bills being sent to my place. Mobile registration is a good feature to have and I can get my queue number really quickly although that does not influence waiting time. I would recommend anyone in the west or frequent nuhs to use this app instead health hub since there is a more personalised feeling using this app. Keep up the good work NUHS! Dx

Login blocked
Update 17 March 2023
Wrote in to them since last month, nothing was done to rectify the issue, kept asking me to be patient and wait for their IT team to get back to them, HELLO! It has been a month and I still cannot log into the app! It works at times but noticed my access will be blocked after I visited the hospital for my appointments! I merely use the app to check my queue status while waiting, is this against the rules and regulations?! If not, then why was my access blocked time and again after visiting the hospital?! Forced us to use the app for everything yet the backend support was horrendous! I’ve just wrote an follow up email with all the details and screenshot, please get back to me ASAP! ASAP!!!!
I cannot log into the app since last Friday! Kept prompting me that my access has been blocked and asked me to contact SingPass Helpdesk if issue persisted! I called SingPass and was told that there is nothing wrong with my account! I can login to the healthhub app using my SingPass which means there is confirmed no issue at all. I’ve deleted the app, restarted my phone and reinstalled the app but the issue still persists! Why was I blocked? I go for my medical appointments often but now I cannot access my data and register via the app! This is very frustrating! Please check and verify the issue asap! Thank you!

Dental appointment
I tried to make a booking for a dental appointment but without success.
I’ve to literally input the date for the whole month then to skip to try for next month.
I suggest that you could program in such a way that you could release those dates that are available for booking instead of trying on each and every single day, like playing the jackpot machine to try your luck.
I find it is unproductive in this booking process.
