Any South Park fan will love this game. Although the storyline is pretty straight forward, it still has a distinct South Park feel to it. Even for non fans of the series, the combat gameplay is fun and interesting with enough variations in strategy to make it challenging. Iaps are optional and it doesn’t feel like anything is locked behind a paywall. Of course u can always chose to pay to speed things up.

Only gripes are that the game occasionally crashes (but it’ll probably be fixed in a later update) and Pvp at low ranks often involves the same characters battling each other as newer characters are locked until later stages.

I’m still not liking the PvP

Forced PvP is not a big deal. Company needs to keep the players a little competitive so that they will make purchases(or just git gud). Anyone understands that without profit the game cannot survive. However please fix the match making. I’m pretty sure that should be other reviews on it now. You are not going to win another player with their decks of level 3s when I’m just filled with 1s and 2s. It’s horrible. And his character was 2 level higher as well(stronger zap atk + higher hp). It’s a one way ticket to wasting my time, that is if my game doesn’t crash first.

The re playing of the story gets more difficult extremely quickly and pushes you back to the unfair and unrewarding PvP as well. The only salvageable point is the events(where you earn points based of different cards), which hopefully isn’t going to be removed. The event pushes other to try new cards as well, bringing some randomness/changes to opponents deck.

The next trend of micro transactions

I’m was worried how this game will turn fans away with this micro transactions planform since the franchise has been focused on pc and console especially with fractured but whole game just been few week ago release before this game

As much as the micro transactions has been implemented for the p2w players there are still stuff that a f2p still can catch up on the same lvl if they put in enough time

More importantly the traditional of waiting time/ refill energy bar for the next battle DOES NOT EXIST,you literally could play this all day or till the next free pack .

Combat is interesting as you can control as many unit as their cards counterparts is ready to use and who doesn’t want an posse of cowboys cartman ?
Story is process by episodes, in each episode consist of about 5 chapters and you need to pvp in one of those chapters to move on

Storyline is your usually kinda funny (at least to me) scripted yet beautiful craved dialogue using an msg app

People will find this game overall entertaining even when they doesn’t follow the tv series and hardcore fans will definitely form their own little union and declare an Long term war within themselves within the South Park universe after playing this game.
