TL SimplyGo mobile app is an initiative by Transit Link Pte Ltd to bring the TransitLink SimplyGo (formerly known as Account-Based Ticketing) Portal and the current suite of eServices on its corporate website ( to the mobile platform.

Faulty and slow application

The app used to update my journey after tapping out via notifications that were being sent. All of a sudden, the function stopped working and I couldn’t even check the amount of which I had accumulated. Please fix it as the notification really helps. Thanks.

App is ok, only the iphone Face ID issue

It’s frustrating trying to use Face ID taking public transport. Already set to express travel on my iphone, supposedly the card I select will work automatically without having to input passcode; and i don’t want to block all the passengers boarding, so I tried taking MRT during non peak, tap my phone, double click side and a pop up please enter passcode. No such problem with my previous iPhone 8 just Touch ID and go. Now standing in front of the gate, need to key in passcode before I can proceed. Tedious having to remember so many passwords from different apps and sites and now shopping using membership app also suddenly lost standing at the check out point with mask obstruction. Neither do I want to get a watch just to make the phone Face ID work. Face ID don’t work well on transit, unlike the TV ad tap and go like so easy 😩 bluff people. Only complaint is using Face ID on mobile to take public transit, and accessing apps or sites with mask obstruction.

Key features missing again

I could previously see the type of concession pass I bought for my child, the start and end date of the pass. These details disappeared sometime in 2021 and I sent an email to TL to report it. At that time, the feature appeared to be broken because it is showing N/A instead of the relevant details. TL CS replied saying there is no such feature i.e. the pass type, start and end dates were never displayed. For calling me a liar aside, I pointed out to TL CS the info fields are still there but it is showing N/A so the app DID show the details but its gone now. TL CS did not apologise for their blatant attempt to push away genuine feedback and merely said they will fix it “in due course”. The details eventually reappeared in late 2021 but as of the latest app update, its gone again. Well done TL, you guys are “great”.
