Get your voting essentials
Snapchat’s Voting 101 tool helps you register to vote and invite your friends to do the same. You can also find your polling location (including in-person early-voting options), resources for understanding your ballot, and hotline numbers for election protection if you have trouble at the polls. Just type “vote” into the search field.
ActiVote helps inform your vote at local, state, and federal levels through daily policy polls and quizzes. Your answers fine-tune your place on the app’s Political Matrix, where you can tap any candidate to compare how their stance aligns with yours.
The “Election 2022” Apple News Spotlight highlights where and how election laws have changed since 2020. It offers resources on how to avoid and fix voter mistakes, cast and track your mail-in ballot, and know and protect your voting rights.

Hail a discounted ride
Lyft riders can preload code VOTE22 before Election Day for a 50 percent discount (up to $10) on rides to the polls on November 8. The discount is also good for participating local bikeshare programs too.
Use Uber’s poll-finding feature to automatically get 50 percent off round-trip rides to and from the polls (up to $7 each way). Discount also applies to bikes and scooters. (Not available in California and Michigan.)
