I've been using the Kyivstar app for a while now, and I only had positive experiences. It is quite straightforward, while being fully equipped for majority of tasks. Before the app, managing your number required calling Kyivstar employees, which was a major hassle. You can currently complete every task on your own in a matter of seconds with this software. With a few minor instances that were taken care of in earlier updates, my experiences were overwhelmingly positive.

When there is no connection / sim does not work it is close to impossible to connect to tech support: chat-bot is useless in this situation, it is impossible to call anywhere, and live chat is only supported when there is an available operator, otherwise you get a message “there are no available operators” and cannot send any messages.

In this situation your customer service proves to be worst of the worst — there is no way to connect to tech support. And imagine if it means someone cannot get an sms from their bank to authorize an important and urgent payment because of this.

It would be far better if you make it possible to just leave a message to tech support in the app for later when they are available — at least finding a wifi and connecting to an app is oftentimes possible. Even if there are no available operators at the moment — someone can pick it up later, but there shall be a way to connect without spending hours trying to catch a lucky moment when an operator is free.

Also sending sms to authorize in a chat is strange for situations when the number stops working. If you are logged out of an app and there are no available operators online in web version you literally get blocked out of any customer service and cannot do anything because there is no way to receive that authorization sms. There are shall be other /additional ways to ensure security.

Apart from that — neat and tidy app, design looks nice and user-friendly.

Програма працює при підключенні до будь-якого інтернету: як до мобільного, так і до мережі Wi-Fi. В майбутньому ми плануємо реалізувати можливість роботи програми і в оффлайн-режимі.

Як тимчасове рішення, якщо доступ до інтернету відсутній, оплатити без комісії послуги мобільного зв'язку «Київстар» за допомогою карти банку Ви також можете за коротким номером 899 (безкоштовно з мобільного «Київстар»).
Зауваження стосовно альтернатив по авторизації, коли немає зв'язку, прийняли до уваги , аналізуємо ситуацію.

The app itself is good and convenient. It works as expected. However it has some minor drawbacks and the biggest one is that the widget fails to work correctly all the time on my iPhone 7. It either fails to load my balance or just shows the login button regardless of whether I’m logged in or not.
Also when showing balance from a widget it seemingly runs a separate API call each time which causes the balance to be shown on widget after a while. This renders the widget useless as the whole point of a widget is to get information from a quick glance.
Otherwise the app works good and is very convenient to get all required information quickly and to run all basic operations you might need.

Good afternoon. Please try to remove the widget from, then go to the application in the "Options" section and click on "Log out". After that, log in again in the program and try to install and configure the widget again. If our recommendations do not help, please report it to APPS@kyivstar.net, indicating your phone number, model and OS version of the phone, and send a screenshot of the widget. We will check.
