This app is a godsend. It offers more than any other app in it’s field and it does it beautifully. However, there are a few things that I’d love to see added in the future (things I have on my gaming spreadsheet along with everything else this app does)…The first is HowLongToBeat data for every game. For me, one of the ways I see which game(s) to play next is to view MetaCritic data along with HLTB data (algorithmically along with the next most-common trophy) which ranks my games in order of when I should play them. If this app did that, it would be even more unparalleled in it’s one-stop-shop nature. Switch Accounts. The Switch tells me how long I’ve played each game (give or take) as well. For games that users have played across multiple platforms, have an option to view total stats for a game across all available platforms. For me, I have Hollow Knight stats for PS4 US, PS4 EU, and Switch all combined for 133 hours of gameplay instead of whatever my most recent PS gametime is. Yearly stats. Like letterboxd does for film, this app can do for games. Tell us what our rarest trophy was, what game we played the most that year, how many trophies we earned, total play time, most played developer, least popular game, etc etc etc. People wouldn’t be able to stay away, and they may play games even more to see the impact on their stats. I know that since I made my spreadsheet, I’m planning on putting in 120 hours into one game to surpass another as my most-played. Also, FC5 is 3 hours away from joining my 100 Hour Club. Things like thatAnyway, ignore this or be inspired by it, Area X. It’s all yours. And you’re killing it so far

Hey, thanks for taking the time to review the app and make such great suggestions. You’ll be pleased to know adding more and more stats is one of the top priorities for the app going forward. If you’d like, come join our discord and I can chat more about it and what features are planned. I hadn’t considered Switch account syncing to be worth the effort, but if it exposes game stats then it definitely would be. I’ll investigate it.
Good app, 1 request

Like others, I’ve really enjoyed the way you can sort and organize your collection of games with this app. It’s really easy for me to keep track of my collection and games I may want to get in the future. And there is such a vast variety of games to sift through. One suggestion I have (and I don’t know how possible it is to implement) is maybe adding a feature where users can add to the game database, using a template with required game information and having the requests reviewed by the developer team. If there already is one, I don’t know where to look, because I haven’t seen such an option in the app’s menu or settings configuration. I personally think it could be a helpful option because sometimes I notice that a game I have is not in the database and either I have to wait for it to be added by an unknown date or I don’t see it represented at all. I understand there could be complications with such a feature, but it’d be great if the team can at least consider it (or to point out where to find it if it’s already being implemented). Thank you for your hard work!

Área X is a video gamer’s dream resource. This application not only allows you to look up the catalog from the NES era to today’s generation but also upcoming games, top rated games, and maybe most importantly to some users the ability to manage your game collection and gaming history in a number ways. Where other great game database applications such as Sort It allow you to manage your inventory in multiple ways Area X allows users to do so more creatively. Users can not only do the basics such as create a catalog and a wishlist but here you can create game of the year lists or favorite lists by way of game genres. For those invested in gaming scores and achievements the application allows the linking of XBLA and PSN scores and trophies. Most importantly the minimalist colorful design of the app allows users to easily navigate, manage and search when necessary. Área X is a must have reference for video game players whether casual or hardcore as it has almost everything for all types of users.
Excellent place to view all your completions!

I am loving the app so far. Haven’t had any issue linking accounts or tracking completed achievements. The UI is nice and easy to use. One recommendation I have… when you go to share a game, it gives the option to display your total gamerscore/platinums and total 100% completions. Could we get an option to customize this number so that we could specify that the game was the x’th completion in our collection? If there is no way to look up this data automatically, it would be nice to at least customize this entry.
Stability improvements and optimisations
