I am 51 years old and don’t like having to drive across town three days a week to do PT. I have been doing Yoga/Pilates/Functional Strength Training and after a recent injury suddenly had a huge setback. I knew I could recover from the injury but wasn’t certain I wouldn’t extend or worsen the injury. Enter Recovery One. Virtual visit with a DPT followed by a plan based on what was important to me. Ways to give feedback on each set of instructions, and interactive chats. So many times in the past I would go to the orthopedist to get access to PT and I knew my injury was nonsurgical but had to have the ortho visit to ensure it. I wasn’t certain with this injury but an ortho visit reassured me of the diagnosis…meniscus tear and baker’s cyst and confirmed bone on bone arthritis in the knees. Recovery One allowed for me to do my PT in the comfort of my home, using elements in my home combined with a pack they offered up and sent out. I actually use the app on my phone and airplay it on my TV so I can see the videos clearly. Exactly what I need for my aging body to safely remain active!
Absolutely Amazing

As a super active 60+ who works hard to avoid surgeries, I have had more episodes with traditional, in-office PT than I want to admit. I have a collection of uninspiring black and white sheets of paper with sets and reps scribbled on the side. Recovery One is actually fun and I mean that. I have shoulder impingement and am trying to get back to full use of my shoulder esp above my head. I look forward to the sessions and have even stepped it up to every day. The software is amazingly smart and configures what seems to be the most spot on workout each day. The videos are instructive and the timed counter keeps me from rushing through. I am making rapid progress and am almost hating the countdown to the end of the pathway. I started by having a video call with a great PT who stepped me through some assessments. It was easy to do and we communicated well. From there, the pathway gets assigned. Anytime you want, you can hit the chat button to leave a message for your assigned care manager. This is truly the most amazing thing I ever could have wished for!!!
Very pleased!

I am very pleased with the therapy I am receiving through RecoveryOne! It’s personal, it goes with me wherever I need to be while traveling, and with the text and chats, it is encouraging to not only do it, but for when I have problems with pain and it’s not working for me. We chat and I get going again. My therapist that I saw in person several months ago, and again this past week, was very impressed with my improvement with RecoveryOne and the exercises, and said there was nothing more or better that she could recommend. Kinda speaks for itself. She also said she wished all her patients were as eager to do the work and get on with recovering as I have been. Thankful for her start with stretches, and RecoveryOnes continuing and improving with the next steps. Thanks!
Very helpful

This has mostly been a great experience, but there are still some bugs to work out. I had to give up on the motion sensor because there just wasn’t enough space in my house to get it far enough away. Also having it bark orders at me about placement while I was still trying to find a good spot was annoying. I’m also frustrated with the ratings part for each exercise. Apparently if you tell it that an exercise was challenging, it may drop the number of reps to a lower odd number which is a pain if you’re supposed to be doing both sides because it leaves you lopsided. Finally, I’ve noted that an exercise was extremely painful in the ratings section and had no response or change to the routine. When you contact the trainer directly, they are quick to respond though, so it works out. Just don’t count on the post exercise ratings to do the right thing.
Minor bug fixes and performance improvements.
