Edit: The developer contacted me promptly about the issues I experienced and fixed the issues I had in a very short time. I like the simplicity of the app, it doesn’t feel like it has a lot of unnecessary features and just allows me to track workouts. The only issues I have are the exercise timer stops when I put my phone to sleep and if I need to change the order of my workout, the app starts the next exercise automatically when I touch the change button so I can’t change it. To get around this, I have been changing the order before I log the last set.

Minor issue

I am having problems with accessing the app. Every time I try to go on the app, it kicks me out of the app. I’ve tried deleting the app and redownloading the app, I’m still coming across the same issue. How can this issue resolve? Other than that, when I was able to use the app, it was great. I love the workouts that the app provides. I wish to continue on using the app, but I need the issue of not being able to access the app to be resolved.

Hi Remondo, Just letting you know the new version has now been released with the fix (2.80) there was an update from Apple that unfortunately caused the app to crash. Also, I do want to let you know though so you are not disappointed, by removing and re-adding the app I believe your workouts and logs will have been removed unless you backed them up, very sorry for the inconvenience. I loved Shred, then they made it cost $99 a year. 🤯 I was on the hunt for a replacement app and tried absolutely eveyying. I don’t want to watch videos, I just want to know what the next workout is and how to do it! This app totally fit the bill, and I love it! Thank you very much! Two things- I wish I could share workouts I have created so my daughter could do the same ones without having to manually create them again. Second, is there a way to play the demonstration video when you are in the workout? I always have to leave and go to exercises and hunt down the one I’m after. Those things are minor though- it’s a great app!

Makes all the late night coding worth it.For your first point I am hoping to add some ability to share workouts with users in the coming months and for viewing the demonstration video in the workout, I will be releasing a massive update in the next 2 weeks with all new much more highly detailed exercise videos and when in a workout you will be able to tap on the current exercise name and it will bring up the exercise info. Good free gym app with a few things keeping from being a great free app

I like this app for organizing my workouts and tracking my gym days. The biggest issue I see with this app is you can’t change the order of your workout once started. There is an option to change the next exercise but it doesn’t seem to work. Something I would like to see would be to have the ability to record a 1rpe and then use a percentage in the setup.Something else nice would be a way to record your machine setup info(seat height etc). I have never found an app that does that.

Hi Kenny, sorry for the slow reply. You can change the order of exercises once you start the workout, just tap the exercise list button (the one with the 4 lines next to the skip button) and you can tap and hold the exercise you want to re-order and then swipe up or down to change it's order. If you want to change the current exercise you're doing provided you haven't logged your first set you can tap on the current exercise (in blue) and change it to another exercise. I appreciate the RPE scale, I'll see if I can add something for that and also good suggestion about machine setup notes. All the best with your training.
