If you’re looking to ace your next spelling test or just want to improve your spelling, Spell It is here to help you do just that. We have several challenges to help you master all the words on your spelling list. The challenges we currently have are as follows: • Spelling Test Each of your spelling words is pronounced just like a standard spelling test. Enter each word from your spelling list one by one until you’ve spelled all the words. • Fill in the blank Each of your spelling words has a letter missing. You must fill in the blank for each of your spelling words. • Word Scramble We scrambled all the words in your spelling list. Rearrange the letters back into the correct order. • Word Search Spell It places words from your spelling list into your very own word search. Find every word in the word bank to complete the puzzle. Spell It allows you to add as many words to as many lists as you want. After you complete each challenge, you’ll see your results. Great app but…

No need to read
Its a very very good app! It helps learn words and you get to pick! Its good for teachers and students at home or in school. The only thing is there are only a few games so it tends to get boring and repetitive. A few out of the small amount of games are not even available. You have to buy a few things on this app. Other then that the game works fine and it doesn’t glitch or obviously have adds. Its just a simple practice spelling game for school or for home. 😀

Its a very very good app! It helps learn words and you get to pick! Its good for teachers and students at home or in school. The only thing is there are only a few games so it tends to get boring and repetitive. A few out of the small amount of games are not even available. You have to buy a few things on this app. Other then that the game works fine and it doesn’t glitch or obviously have adds. Its just a simple practice spelling game for school or for home. 😀
Helpful + Engaging Spelling Tool

This app has been a huge help in our home where three+ kids need to practice spelling words daily. Though they have hand-written homework to practice their words, I’ve found that the games and repeated practice opportunities on this app are much more engaging and effective at helping my kiddos learn their words. They actually WANT to practice spelling on here and can do it relatively independently. The only difficulty is that the app seems to be glitchy across different platforms (can’t highlight words on the word search or type letters, etc., rendering the app useless). It works almost seamlessly on my iPhone but doesn’t always work well on our various iPad models, one of which is a newer one. I’d love for these glitches to be fixed because I haven’t found another app that tops this one!

I downloaded this app in preparation of my citywide spelling bee and I found it really helpful. I really enjoyed how the app provides multiple ways to study. However, the reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because when you are writing your list of words, and you accidentally press enter to start a new word without finishing the first one, you can’t go back to other words, so you’ll have to delete it and start a new list all over again. This has happened several times and is quite frustrating. Other than that this app is tremendously helpful whether you’re preparing for spelling bee or just trying to improve your spelling overall. Please fix the typing issue.

Thanks for the review. We will look into ways to improve the spelling word entry process. In the meantime, you can swipe left on a word in your spelling list to delete it. There's no need to start a new list.

I was failing now I’m not

Apps like spelling city are expensive and my iPad doesn’t allow me to make purchases. I’m 11 and I was failing spelling and if I didn’t get 100% for the rest of my test I would fail 5th grade! every night when I come home from school on Friday I bring my spelling book with me and type in my list over the weekend. I have gotten 100% on all of my tests ever since I got spell it.I can study whenever where ever and now I am an A+ student.
