I’ve never felt more ripped off by an app before.. I purchased this app to control some skypanels that were in the grid of a studio and it didn’t work. The studio couldn’t figure it out and we deleted the app before going home.. now a year later I notice I’ve paid 12 months subscription for an app that’s not even installed.. I’ve never been more insulted by both Apple and what I use to regard as my favorite cinema company, Arri.. rip.
Developer Response Dear MercerMike7, we're very sorry that this happened to you. Unfortunately Stellar cannot automatically cancel the subscription for you when the App is uninstalled, this can only be done by the user in the App Store. However, it would be interesting to know why the app didn't work out in the first place, though. You can contact me via lightingapp@arri.com.Best regardsStefan

Absolutely love this app. So easy to use. Although it does crash often on my phone.

User Manual?Documentation? Not comfortable adopting a wireless DMX system without having a thorough understanding of how it’s working and how to troubleshoot it when problems arise; and when it comes to using the 2.4Ghz spectrum in a real production environment, they often do.Also, disappointing the app is not a more generalized DMX control console and instead appears geared only toward using Arri equipment. I virtually never put in a rig where I need DMX control and only use Arri lighting fixtures. Lighting control for me needs to be unified, not separated amongst multiple disconnected controllers.

2.4.2
- Fix disconnected state of manually added fixtures
- When 8-bit mode is set on the fixture use the same mode on the app
- Fix no output when switching between color field and sliders in RGBW mode
2.4
- Virtual Grouping
Users can now make groups across types of fixtures so that they can be controlled together as a lighting position, and can now set levels and colors and control all of the lights together.
A small message will alert the user that they have combined mis-matched sets of LED engines if they have done so with their group. This states that that some color controls are not available for older fixtures, but common colors across fixtures can be adjusted together.
- Solo, Previous, Next
The new “Solo” feature greatly improves the speed of setting light levels by adding the ability to adjust individual lights within a group quickly.
The new "Previous” and “Next” buttons have been added which allow the user to advance thru the fixtures, by dimming the first light and illuminating and shifting control to the next luminaire.
Tapping “Solo” again at the end of the adjustment period will restore the intensity and control of the group, allowing the user to save varying parameters within a group to a new “Look”.
- Improved fixture discovery and app performance
