I have used this NASB Bible, along with a set of Lockman NASB Study Bible books, for many years, and, although I use other versions to compare/contrast various verses, I always come back to this version for its readability and accuracy of foreign translation. In the New Testament, that would be primarily Greek. In the Old Testament, that would be primarily Hebrew. I truly love this translation; many tell me that the words I encounter in this translation are very accurate and I am extremely confident that I am getting the best translation when I use my results with various members of my class. I also use a number of various Greek and Hebrew translation tools and I’m usually very pleased with the final outcomes of my work. In addition, I have a Greek Wuest version which is a direct translation into English, without concern for readability or editing of words. That’s where I can truly judge the NASB in its best light. I appreciate the shades of meaning being expressed with such an economy of words as compared to the verbose Wuest edition!

This app was really great and special when it was just the NASB ‘95 text. There’s not enough love among Christians for the outstanding NASB (i.e., pre-2020 revision). And it was great to finally find an app that exclusively featured the 1995 NASB. Unfortunately, however, the developers have begun to add additional translations, which is unnecessary and which is only going to complicate this once simple and easy-to-use application. I guess they’re trying to be compete with Logos (no chance) or Bible Gateway, E-Sword, etc. There are already a gazillion apps out there for the archaic and vastly inferior KJV translation (which has LONG outlived its usefulness—high time for Christians to accept that), the LSB already has its own app (and it’s just a slightly refined update to the 1995 NASB anyway), and the ESV translation is, honestly, pointless. It’s less literal than the NASB (1977 and 1995 versions), and it doesn’t even capitalize divine pronouns, which drives me nuts. (LOL)Fortunately, I haven’t updated my app and don’t plan to, so mine still has only the wonderful NASB ‘95 text, with no distractions. I really wish Literal Word would go back to using only that most excellent translation, because it truly needs to be preserved (especially since the release of the horrible NASB 2020!). I still prefer the 1995 NASB even to the LSB, in most passages.

Easy to navigate, Hebrew & Greek Lexicon, integrated dictionary, search function is excellent. Love that God’s Word is caps in NT and Jesus’ Word is Red. Love the options in this app. Simple, robust, many options / features. Thank you for providing us access to this app for free. I’ve used many Bible apps and this is the absolute best, exactly what I needed. I have ESV & KJV in print, so this digital NASB is perfect for my referencing needs. Pastor at my local congregation suggested I add NASB to my Bible Collection for in-depth study. Amen, developers! Thank you again for making this app. The time of Revelations is here, we need to spread the Gospel now more than ever before. Please keep this free. Please keep it without ads. We need Jesus and this is the best app version of the Bible yet. Glory to God for access to His Word in our pocket, digitally, instant cross referencing, categories of notes. So thankful. Amen. Super easy to use, feature rich, distraction free reading. I am dyslexic, this application is very pleasant to use. The UI is well laid out, simple but powerful when you want to do word studies. Navigating back to the text you were in before going down a rabbit trail is easy. Using this app I find I am using less time fumbling through menus and settings, but learning His words. I think I have tried all the Bible mobile apps, this one is the most intuitive I have used. The search works well and is super helpful for word studies. Because of my dyslexia and using different translations of the Bible I typically have to use a search engine to find specific passages. Using the built in search works so well I haven’t had to leave this app. May the Lord richly bless the devs and individuals who are responsible for bringing this application to the public!
