The award-winning Broadcasts 3 introduces a brand new iPhone app, a beautiful new Now Playing screen, and a revamped Search experience. Now available on Apple Vision Pro.
Listen to streaming internet radio in an ultra-simple, single-purpose app.
Broadcasts makes building a library of stations from around the world easier than ever — no subscription required. Use completely free with a limited-size library of stations, or upgrade to the full version to unlock the library limit and add as many of your own stations as you like from the Station Browser, or manually via URL. Search for stations from around the world as easily as from your own library.
Showcase gorgeous station and track artwork (for supported stations) with the all-new Now Playing screen. Use Shazam (Beta) to power the Now Playing screen with artwork and metadata for stations that do not provide it, or simply to provide an ambient Now Playing experience for music playing nearby. Show the currently playing artwork and metadata on external displays if you want an all-screen experience.
Sync your library across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV with iCloud & Universal Purchase.
Browse stations in grid or list view. Listen in Light or Dark mode. Edit stations to provide your own artwork, or use the Artwork Chooser to generate something fun and colorful. Thoughtful mouse, trackpad & keyboard support provides a great experience on iPad. Perform common tasks from the Command menu, and control playback using keyboard shortcuts. Use Handoff to transfer playback between devices, or AirPlay directly to a home speaker.
Listen with just your Apple Watch (Cellular) while out and about, or on Apple TV at home.
Supports CarPlay on certified devices; stream internet radio on your CarPlay-enabled head unit directly.
Automate playback using Shortcuts.
Tune in to thousands of live internet radio streams—right on your Mac—from Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Poland, Zimbabwe, and everywhere in between with Broadcasts.
The Best Internet Radio Tuner on Any Platform

If this the current App as designed on the iPhone only, it would be worth close to 5 stars. If it were a superb one for my iPad as well, then it's worth noticing. Add a Mac OS and AppleTV version and you have a whole family of well-built, elegant and beautiful Internet Radio apps that essentially lets you listen to both your local and foreign radio stations almost instantly. Not only that, but all of your carefully curated stations you do on, say, your Mac, get copied to iCloud and synched to all of the others. You never have to add or fix a station twice. I use this app constantaly and am pleased to see the developer continuing to refine and polish it, but it really doesn't need much more. Maybe and alarm mode so you can wake up to a station of your choice? But then it would be competing with all of those other (usually lousy) alarm clock apps.
The Radio App I've Been Waiting For

Broadcasts is a new app that is steadily and rapidly improving and adding features (e.g., the recent directory of stations addition), but already I'm won over from a well-known competitor's legacy app that I've never loved. Broadcast: a simple, low cost radio app on both iOS and Mac OS X that syncs well. I'd love to see the ability to export and import station lists (including descriptions and icons) so that I could evangelize the app to my friends and family and make it dirt simple for them to add the app and get started. Finding which radio stations are the "best" or are "stations in my areas of listening interest" amongst the multitude of stations in the USA and worldwide is likely still overwhelming for new users, so any feature that would help could be useful. Kudos to the developer.
Holy Grail of Streaming Radio

I love to listen to a lot of different streaming audio stations. I liked to use Apple's own Music app on my Mac, but this feature is absent from the iOS and TvOS platforms. Once I tested this app with it's five station limit, I happily paid the $9.99 and use it on my Apple TV and iOS every day. The browse feature finds a lot of publiclly available streaming radio stations, but I've gone further and using the developer view of Safari found the embedded streaming URLs to some staitons that only stream via their own app or web UI online. Now I can have my fave station all in one place across all my platforms. I also love the ability to customize the station's cover art!
