Stream is the FARO field-capture mobile app that connects FARO hardware with FARO Sphere cloud-based services. By uniting hardware with cloud software, Stream makes on-site capture workflows more efficient and brings captured data directly into the FARO ecosystem. Stream is compatible with the Focus Premium, Orbis mobile and Blink scanner with a unified interface. Stream provides live feedback of the captured data, performing real-time SLAM for Orbis/Blink and scan pre-registration for Focus/Blink. Stream also allows the ability to include complementary data like field annotations and photographic images to the project after a scan is complete.
Stream provides the best on-site efficiency for data capture with the Focus Premium, Blink and Orbis for scan operations in architecture, engineering, construction, facility management, geospatial, and mining.

• The user guidance for positioning scans has been improved. The guidance ring has been removed. Users now see only their trajectory: blue where scanning is recommended and yellow where it is not.
