I do not know where to begin about how much I love this app. I find myself returning to it numerous times a day. First the avatar - I am a cartoon fanatic. So the avatar that is set up for the before and after picture is genius. The reason why people lose weight is to look better, which makes you feel better and ultimately perform better. The avatar has different shades, hair, eye color so you are able to customize it. Second the rewards are clothes - 'say what'. Of course after you've slimmed down you want to dress better. So the items as rewards is an excellent motivator. But that all is the fun part. In order to lose weight, you need to keep a 'diary' of your caloric intake. Needless to say the app has a diary and an electronic counter of the calories. It had graphs and allows you to store pics of yourself for incentives. This is the best app EVER! Thank you for creating it. If it ever goes viral - hola I would love to advertise for it.

Freestyle - let the user choose!!

I’ve been using this app for almost two years now. At the beginning, I lost roughly 30 pounds. Somewhere in between, I lost myself due to personal issues and gained 15 pounds. When I came back to the app, i found that it was changed to the Freestyle program! So many 0 point foods, but now it is harder for me to lose that 15 pounds again because of the foods that are considered 0 points. Please please please, let the user choose whether or not they use the freestyle program or not!! I know it works for people, but it simply isn’t cutting it for me. I really hope you’ll take my suggestion into consideration... Thank you !

Nice tool. Seems like a lot of hard work was put into it but it’s full of bugs when it comes to food tracking / updating the counters. After you added food to your list if you go in and try to update it it will update the counter incorrectly. Sometimes adding more portions will actually reverse the calorie eaten counter. I try work around. Like if I had another slice of bread I will add a whole new food item to my list as opposed to updating from 1 slice to two. Lots of bugs in recipes as well. If I updated a recipe it will still pull the old recipe values if I add a portion to my list. Another example (of many): it sets my fiber target for the day at 26 gr (Fittur) but if I flip to USDA and then back to Fittur, it will change my target fiber to 19 gr. I found a work around of moving the grams of fiber away from my desired per 1000 calorie and then back to my target and it will update it to the correct value. Weight trend is calculated incorrectly. There are lots of bugs with the counters. I just mentioned a few of them. I’m surprised others don’t check it, and blindly trust the app. If nothing works correctly, what’s the point of using the app? If bugs were fixed this app would be perfect. Right now it’s only frustrating to me. How disappointing.

This app has changed my eating habits completely. I don't think I could do without it now. I used to obsess over numbers and try to eat healthy all the time. This app does it for you so you don't have to think about it! It becomes your new food diary.
