I really enjoy playing pitch however, where I live not many people have heard of the game. So I rely on these apps. Yours had been the best. Now I have discovered a big flaw in the program , it doesn’t like to lose. I have changed the settings. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it but it still is the same.. When east or west has the bid each of them will have 3-4 trump in hand.., when my partner has trump I have none. My partner bids 3 consistently and loses 80% of those bids. Lastly when I am left with the bid I will not have any face cards in my hand at least 75% of the time… I am not a hard loser I’m still playing and I will win a game or two. I have learned to only bid when you have an ace because your opponent has it ! I only want to let you know what I think I have noticed about your game… I have played others and I will stick with yours.. I was hoping you could make it a little more fair Thanks Norm I am still having the same issue with your game… you took the time and responded to me and said that it was all random… however I don’t really believe it I will admit that I make mistakes and I am not a perfect player…. But the constant three bids by my partner and I can see that he doesn’t even have three trump in his hand is wrong… and that is definitely on you Please look into this… Thank you, Norm

Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Pitch. Thank you for your review. The deals are not biased to any seat. It is just luck. We play on levels 1 and 2 for a relaxing game.Levels 4+ use an advanced Monte Carlo Simulation AI. Roughly, this deals many hands of the unknown cards and plays them to the end, trying each legal play (or bid). The best legal play on average is chosen. This results in some good plays on the higher levels. And of course a few bad ones too. We are continuing to work on improvements and have made some recently. Please check out our recent update.
Good game

Overall, I very much enjoy playing the game; however, there are still a few major bugs that need to be corrected. The computer AI opponent does not always follow suit. On a number of occasions, a suit will be played (like spades) and the AI opponent will trump it, and then play a spade the very next hand. How does that happen?? Also, the AI opponent doesn’t always play smart when it comes to playing the 10 of any suit, sometimes not playing it when it helps the team or tossing it when it had another option to avoid losing it.

Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Pitch. Thank you for your review. With the default NeuralPlay Pitch rules, you can play the suit or trump. So you can trump and then play the suit (spades). This is adjustable. Please see settings to adjust the following suit rule to your preferred way to play. Also, we have improved the AI to play the 10 better. Please get our recent update when you have a chance. Please send us additional questions and feedback at support@neuralplay.com. We are continuing to work on improvements.
Where’s The Run?
Matthnhy
Fun game. Should be an option for the dealer to “run” the cards, meaning, the dealer has the option to reject the bids from the 1st round of bids and deal 3 additional cards to each player to start a second round of bidding. Bidding can be handled the. In 2 ways, 2nd round of bidding can be required to start at 1 point higher than the highest bid from the first round or could start at the maximum bid from the first round. Dealer can also be required to take the bid “called screw the dealer” if all players pass on bidding, forcing the dealer to bid 1 point higher than the highest bid from the first round. The AI could also use some help. I’ve seen multiple times, even on higher AI settings, where AI players will lead a jack of Trump when they have other options to play and higher trumps have not been played. The result is that point card is captured unnecessarily. These are plays any remotely experienced human would never make.
I WANT A NEW PARTNER !
Antique Teacher
I could like this game, but the AI is off. I have been in contact with support and have tried what they have suggested. I have also tried playing on levels 2, 3, and 4. On all three levels my partner is a terrible player and my opponents are incredibly lucky. They say cards are dealt randomly, however, my opponents not only have an unusual number of good hands, but they also seem to know what their partner has. My partner constantly outbids me whenever I have a decent hand and often doesn’t make the bid. They also don’t make their bid a lot. Why would my partner lead a deuce of whatever suit they named as trump on the first play?! I make points only to have my partner lose points. It’s frustrating enough that I may delete the app. It’s too bad because it could be a good game.

Thank you for your review. We are working on an update to improve the AI play. It should be available in the next week. The AI does bid quite aggressively by default. You can adjust the bidding aggressiveness in settings.
• New option to play all four hands.
• UI improvements.
• AI improvements.
